Very slight menthol and gentle all round fruitiness. Another one of the vast array of snuffs that are pleasant enough but just not outstanding enough to be anyone's favourite. Get one for the collection though.

Well, a hint of menthol may be claimed for Richt Kind, but I certainly can't find it! What I can find is an intriguing mix of fruit and floral flavours with an underlying (almost all-pervading) earthy mustiness. Not bad at all, though I suspect it would be better if I'd got it fresher in one of the new plastic boxes rather than one of the old tins.

Pale to mid brown, fine, fluffy and of medium moisture. Easy to take because of the fluffiness, and with some initial burn. I have been sampling this snuff for the last 3 days and it's proving a real enigma. Sweet, fruity and floral with a hint menthol. Peach melba, apricot, raspberry, cherry, bergamot oil, peach blossom and jasmin with subtle menthol later on. Fans of Poschl Gawith Apricot may find this one a very satisfying and a more challenging pinch. Ideal for a warm sunny summers day. Refreshing, but may become a bit cloying with extended use. (By the way the snuff is spelled Richt Kind on the packet). 6/10.
