Medium brown, medium grind and moisture, and very easy on the nose, so ideal for beginners. The chocolate scent is very mild, and milky with a hint of maltiness, and a good tobacco base. However, I find the aroma underwhelming, short-lived and a bit sickly after a while. Not one I'll buy again, especially with so many other great Toque snuffs on offer. 3/10.

What a snuff! This is a triumph for Toque and by far my favourite Toque offering, smooth, very chocolatey, bare minimal nasal irritation, pure scent and also a favourite for 'non-snuffers' trying it for the first time.
I could take a tin of this out with me for the day and be quite satisfied with it without getting bored at all

This snuff has a rich chocolate smell, not a milk chocolate but a dark chocolate. If you want to get even more of a chocolatey blast mix in some cocoa powder!

very slight scent of chocolate- no nose burn- good quality tobacco. There is not much to this snuff. I guess it is a good beginners snuff. Not something I would buy, but if you have never tried snuff before this might be something for you.

This is an interesting snuff in that the first thing I pick up upon sniffing it is an essence of coffee. Subsequent pinches have more of a dark chocolate taste to me, not nearly as sweet as something like Garrett's Sweet and Mild. I don't think I'll be restocking but it's a high quality snuff and if you like the taste you should give it a try. 3 stars.

Really needs a few hours to air out the amonia. Using it right away after first opening is very unpleasant. Well, the flavour is not that bad. A light milk chocolate, nothing spectacular. The tobacco doesn´t shine like one is used with Toque snuffs. Very short living flavour. I prefer the Dholakia Swiss Chocolate and De Kralingse chocolate snuffs over this one. Quite disappointing.

It's (and this won't come as a surprise, I'm sure) a very tasty, fine-ground chocolate snuff. If your nicotine needs were modest and you were a chocoholic then I could see that this would be an utterly indispensable product. My own needs in this area seem to require more than this elegant confection can provide, however, so, sadly, I don't think I will be buying this one by the kilo.

Mmmm.... chocolate! This is a goodie, no doubt about it. Milk chocolate rather than plain and not over sweet. Easy on the nose too. Medium-brown and medium-fine grind this snuff is always relatively moist so no danger of overloading the sinuses, just the taste buds!

Roderick at Toque has clearly outdone himself with this snuff! Its a clear departure from the usual Toque grinds. This one is far richer, darker, moister and courser than any of the other Toque styles I have tried (which is almost all). It also has a pleasing softness to it.
Beyond a doubt it is the most chocolatey of all chocolate snuffs. The flavor is rich and luxurious. There is a strong liquor character to it as well. Very easy for a beginner to take, but will be loved my experts as well.
Its moved into my daily rotation, and will certainly be one of the snuffs that will have a permanant place in my collection.

Darker in color and fragrant. It reminds me of hollow chocolate Easter bunnies. Nice chocolate flavor over a fresh tobacco base. Little burn and easy to take. Enjoyable and memorable.

Stuffed full of chocolate flavour and a nice smooth grind. If you like chocolate you will like this. As ever, Toque have made a snuff with a remarkable accuracy of flavour.

It smells like chocolate in the tin and when snuffed it also has a nice fruity fragrance of real unprocessed chocolate. Great to mix with other toques.

Once the ammonia scent diminishes this snuff really shines. Its like a chocolaty mild SP. Maybe it is a chocolaty SP. It took me a while to start appreciating this one, so give it some time. You can snuff this all day without getting sick of it.

Although my olfactory powers aren't good enough to detect the subtle aromas in some snuffs, I have no difficulty in sensing the rich chocolatey flavour of this Toque snuff. Very pleasant, especially as a treat!

Med. grind and low moisture,decent nicotine,I have a hard time discering the chocolate,but I do enjoy the flavor,this one is good for numerous and Large pinches.

Open the tin and you really do get the aroma of drinking chocolate. This is nice and easy to take. It is chocolate with quiet a good tobacco hit.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and my grandma always gave me a glass of chocolate milk made with rich, chocolatey Ovaltine when I came to visit. This is good memory. Very tasty snuff

strange stuff this is.
it is very bad in combination with the ammonia taste fresh toques sometimes come with. dont try it in that state by any means. let it air.
fine grind, medium moist for a toque (rather dry).
the flavour is hard to desribe. it is chocolate like, but there is a spicy and bitter note in there, that sometimes makes me think of stall milk. most of the time it is ok though, and really gives an idea of dark, bitter chocolate.
not for me, but not bad.

A must try! Unless you absolutely hate chocolate, this snuff is sure to please. The tobacco base is excellent. The grind is English style. The Toque snuff are super fresh so they do well in wood snuff boxes which allow them to breathe. Highly recommended! Also great for mixing.

Now that I've had Toque Coffee for a little over a week. Like some people mentioned to me, it needed to breath. I reached back into my box and gave it another try. To my surprise it had settled-down and was easier for me to sniff and enjoy. I could now detect the chocolate (something close to USA milk chocolate). It still had a kick, but the type of kick you could really enjoy, knowing that an indulgent experience would soon follow. I had to get me another pinch, because I was taken back from the first hit. Yes the same sweet indulgence was there. Distinct and unique flavor that cannot be confused with any other. I found it to be blissful. I liked the fact that I still could smell the tobacco as well, but now the Chocolate stood out!

This is beautiful stuff. So soft and sweet though not overwhelming. I carry it with me for a nice in between during the day. A very good snuff for a beginner, actually a MUST for the beginner!!
