I'm not a lover of menthol, so three stars is about as much as a tradtional English medicated snuff can get out of me. The snuff is well crafted, and is simply plain menthol (no camphor, eucalyptus, etc.) The nicotine hit is pretty good, and the flavor of the tobacco is not overpowerd by the menthol. The menthol is a bit too much for me, but like I said, straight menthols are not my thing. I could take a pinch from time to time easily enough as a sinus opener and for mixing experiments.

Nice strongish menthol flavour. Not overpowering, just right. Pleasant and easy to take.

Positively surprised by this one, as I didn´t expect anything from it. For the sake of going through the whole Toque range I gave it a try and I can´t say I regret it. From the flavour I´d have mistaken this for the Hedges snuff. The flavour´s pretty much the same, only the Toque is milder (still strong) and much easier to take. Still, this one won´t turn me into a menthol lover, but I find this to be the most pleasant all menthol snuff available. Edit: emptied the tin and loved it so much, that this just has to be the one menthol snuff to keep in stock for me.

I think this one gets overlooked due to Toque's all-star lineup of other distinct blends. Its very smooth and refreshing with a respectable menthol kick. No fancy surprises to diminish the tobacco base. Its more moist than some of the other Toque offerings and won't hit the throat. It holds its own when used straight from the tin and also makes a great base for mixing mentholated homebrews. I like to always keep some of this around.

Good, standard menthol snuff. Nice grind, nice base tobacco blend, pure menthol flavour. If I was a regular menthol user this would figure in my rotation, as it is I just like the odd pinch. One big compliment I can pay this snuff though, is that as a non menthol user this is one menthol that I can use.
As an addition to my previous review - this is a really great blender. In small amounts menthol almost acts like a flavour enhancer - rather like salt on food. Try it with a sweet snuff like vanilla and see the difference.

Mid-brown, quite moist, medium grind, straightforward menthol snuff with a quality tobacco base. Easy on the nose and refreshing as a daytime pinch, although menthol levels are too high for prolonged use. Certainly in my top five menthol varieties, but not quite in the same league as O&G, Hedges L260 and Gawith Hoggarth CM. Good nicotine levels. 7/10.

I had to remove the back of the bullet to get enough.Good menthol and nicotine hit.I like this over any other menthol snuffs.I suspect the moisture content plays a huge role in this.It sat nicely in the nose rather than the upper sinuses or throat....and no sneezing!

This seems to be a more natural menthol flavor than most. It's not as in your face strong as some others but is interesting on it's own. This will not replace my other faves in the menthol realm but will be in my rotation for sure.

Vary 1 dimensional. I like wilsons and others better. This is not bad just mediocre. 3 stars for this one.

Found a stash of this in my freezer recently,Im not a real big menthol user other than O&G and Dholakia cool,but Ive added this to my list.Med/fine grind,low/med moisture.Nice hit of of vitamin N,great tobacco tone once the menthol fades.Stores well in the freezer,it tastes just as fresh today as it did some months ago when it was new.

Not a big lover of menthol so I don't spend a lot of time with this one. But as a menthol snuff, its a very good example. Good tobacco tone with the coolness of pretty strong menthol. No unnecessary scents competing for your noses attention.

this is the best menthol made today, i am sure. it also is one of the few snuffs that gives me unadulterated tobacco and menthol and nothing else. very very nice. the taste is of strong menthol, but not overpowering. there is a fresh note to it, which i find citruss-like, still i do not think there is citrus flavoring in there.
it s fine ground and on the moister side for a toque snuff. still i find it not easy to take bigger pinches.
