A very nice unflavored snuff. I do not use the word 'plain' as there is nothing plain about this very soft, mellow and complex flavor here. It has a nice subtle sweetness to it and something of a clean, nutty flavor. The snuff is identical in flavor to the Toque Quit, but with normal nicotine instead of high. It seems to be the base tobacco for most of Touqe's flavored varieties, so its nice to taste it as a standalone. For my money, I'd buy the "Quit" over this one - simply for the extra kick, but this one is easily a 4 star snuff, and is excellent for home scenting experiments and blending. Pale color. Air ammonia from fresh tins before snuffing.

This product has a very subtle tobacco flavor, medium grind that is close to fine, and medium moisture. This was the first snuff I tried that didn't have menthol, and it sold me on Toque, and all snuff for that matter! The flavor is, again, a bit subtle, but sometimes I just need a snuff without any added flavors. I highly recommend this one, though it can hit the throat if taken too zealously! Easily an all day favorite.

This is a good basic tobacco snuff, easy to take for the beginner. I like it but it's not quite in the same league as F&T HDT. I keep a can around for a change of pace. 4 stars.

Very good plain tobacco here, nothing negative to report. I just prefer the Toque Quit, which is a bit more pronounced and heavier in the nic department, and the Samuel Gawith plain tobaccos more. But for sure this snuff is a delight on its own as well as a great base tobacco to make your own snuffs, or tame down too heavy snuffs.

Light brown, quite dry and medium to fine grind. Good, mild tobacco flavour similar to Toque Quit, but with slightly less nicotine (but still relatively high) and less nose burn. If you like plain snuffs, this will be at the top of your list and would certainly be ideal for taming over-mentholated or perfumed snuffs, or adding your own flavours. 8/10.

I really do like plain snuffs and this has to be one of the best ones available. It's certainly the best of the medium grind and moisture snuffs (as opposed to the coarse, dark, moist ones) that I've ever had. There is no flavouring at all so nothing gets in the way of the excellence of the tobacco. The taste is slightly nutty and surprisingly long lasting for a plain snuff. Not unlike Samuel Gawith's Blue Crest, though the grind of the Natural is rather finer than that one. All in all a very satisfying all day snuff.

The tobacco taste is vary light. I don't get any smokiness. Zero burn that is a plus but overall OK. I am not a big fan of plain snuffs so consider that when you read this.

Just a great straightforward tobacco that I use daily along with the Original to satisfy my cravings. I highly recommend both the Natural and the Original to anyone trying to quit smoking. It might be me, but I think these two hit harder and satisfy better than any other Toque's except of course the Toasts. I doubt there's a better selection for the smoker looking to replace their nicotine and the neutral flavor of this snuff should appeal to almost anyone, great stuff!

This is a perfect plain tobacco snuff. I can just keep taking this all day. It's a great base for adding your own scents, too.

This is my favorite from Toque and one of the few I buy in bulk because I absolutely hate running out of it. This one is in my all-day rotation. The tobacco used in this is what makes it so enjoyable, it is the base tobacco used in all the other Toque flavors. Without the flavorings, the tobacco really shines on its own. It comes fresh from Toque and has an ammonia scent when you open the tin the first time. Some like to air it out before using to remove the ammonia. I kind of like it, seems to give the tobacco a bit more kick. I do think once it is aired out a bit though you pick up more on the quality and subtleties of the tobacco. This is one snuff I just cannot get enough of.

I think this is a superb snuff and to say it has no added flavouring, it has a remarkable flavour. It's easily good enough to be an all day snuff on it's own, but I would guess that people are using it predominatly as a mixer. I found just a little bit of Royal George added to it makes a great home blend. Natural is a very balanced and well rounded snuff and the snuff blender at Toque must really know his or her business.

Very mild taste as expected with a natural. Very good quality tobacco. Thank you Toque for making this available. I will be jarring some for aging and using some for homestyle recipes. Still, a good snuff on it's own. Get some today! Free shipping from Toque.

well. maybe the moisturing i did to it did not really help.
tobacco, fine ground, medium moist for a toque (that is, still on the dry side).
initially i tasted.. nothing.
then i took a big pinch and tasted something slightly musky and had a sensation of my nose being coated by something fluffy. no taste whatsoever.
i still give this 3 stars, as all the other toques are rather good and i believe i have to try this again, out of a tin preferably.

Very good stuff!! I only received a 10gram bag, so I'm using it sparingly. Will order a tin or two next time, a very good everyday snuff
