The standard Toque tobacco base flavoured with peppermint. I like the cooling effect you get with this snuff, rather like a menthol. The peppermint is more subdued than the McChrystals supermint, which makes it more suitable for all day use. Not the most exciting snuff in the world, but it is refreshing on a warm day. Reasonable nicotine hit. 7/10.

As stated earlier, like sniffing peppermint up your nose. Really nice and a great alternative to menthol. A1!

This snuff is slightly moist with an easy, medium-fine grind, a pronounced initial burn followed by a great cooling sensation that feels very different than menthol, and a perfectly balanced sweetish aftertaste that seems to linger as long as the peppermint "ice" sensation. This has a "darker" character than some other mint flavored snuffs, along with a slightly woody, earthy undertone beneath the mint that keeps the base flavor and sweetness from becoming cloying or insipid, and gives them considerable depth and character. Nicotine seems to be on the high side for Toque's non-Toast snuffs. More of a "wintry" mint flavor, but I can imagine it going extremely well up in the mountains on a cool summer evening. Very highly recommended.

Very nice! Somehow this snuff gets forgotten as one of Toque's greats. Naturally, it helps if you like peppermint. It has a nice clearing effect without the use of menthol. Very strong, natural and slightly sweet peppermint flavor. There may be a touch of something creamy, perhaps vanilla in there. It also mixes very nicely with the Toque Vanilla. Its a little finer and dryer than Wilson's Peppermint, but slightly courser than most other Toque snuffs. Its beginner friendly in that regard.

What a nice surprise! I´d feared this would be a bit on the light side flavourwise, but it seems to be one of the strongest, if not the strongest scented Toque snuff. Very distinctive from spearmint, the peppermint is heavier and darker and thus, maybe, not as ideal as an all day snuff. But when you need a flavourfull and effective nose freezer (without menthol) this is the top choice. The tobacco is pushed in the background by the strong peppermint, but in this case it´s not really a loss. Good amount of nicotine, too.

I like this one from time to time to clear my head. It is like an old fashion peppermint candy. It is clean, clear and strong flavoring. The peppermint contributes a bit to the quick cool burn. I think it makes your breath a bit minty too.

Yes, it is definitely like sticking a peppermint stick up the nose. I love this one because menthol makes me sneeze uncontrollably, but this doesn't. It's one dimensional but gets that one dimension perfectly right. Great to mix with others, especially Dholakia Swiss Chocolate.

The joys of peppermint. When you want a menthol lift without the stuffy inflammation. Try mint! The base tobacco notes get almost completely covered by this scent but I have not thrown it in a box yet. That seems to bring the best out of the Toque. Christmas is around the corner so I should have it in a few mixes by then. It may just be getting another star in that future.

I love peppermint and this is the first snuff that replicates it perfectly. All others come off with a stale peppermint aroma.

Perfect snuff for the peppermint lover.Not really an all day snuff for me,but a once in a while treat,med/fine grind,low moisture,its hard for me to taste the tobacco in this one,but then again this is a peppermint flavored snuff.

the only toque snuff i dislike.
as noted by Bob, it might have something to do with my not being overly fond of peppermint.
actually it gives me headache sometimes.
finely ground, dry. light brown in colour.
the taste is of sweetish peppermint. i do not really taste tobacco in it. somehow i do not find it refreshing, but rather stall as in "old peppermint".

How much do you like peppermint? That is how much you will like this snuff. It has one of the most defined and complex peppermint scents I've ever found in snuff. I love peppermint and hence love this snuff. It also has a creamy note which only serves to make the mint a touch sweeter and more delicious. This is peppermint done perfectly with no equal or match. Snuffs great from a spoon a pinch the back of the hand or right from the bullet. The best peppermint ever.
