Standard Toque medium tobacco base, with a natural smelling vanilla aroma. The flavouring is perfectly done for a vanilla snuff - not too sweet or overpowering, but lingers in the background and complements the mild tobacco. Ideal for beginners (although it occasionally catches my throat), but I think after a while I might get slightly bored with just a vanilla flavour - however it mixes well with other snuffs. 6/10.

Very nice! This is the best vanilla snuff on the market. Its gentle on the nose, slightly sweet, smooth, and just simply relaxing. The flavor is very natural, and nothing like a vanilla pipe tobacco, and not as annoyingly clumpy or tart as Wilson's Vanilla. The flavor lingers nicely for some time. Another reviewer said it reminded them of freshly baked cookies. I can't agree more. Its a comfort scent. This is extremely versitile as a mixer (almost any other Toque snuff goes well with it). The only reason it does not get a fifth star is because Toque Toffee is everything this one is and more, and I need some standards of comparison.

The most "natural" vanilla flavour in a snuff I´ve ever head. Rare to find someone process real vanilla in his products these days, but I´m pretty sure this is the case here. As practically all Toque snuffs this one also needs some time to be left open and air out the ammonia, to be enjoyed. The base tobacco makes its presence felt just as much as the vanilla flavour, very well balanced. Not too sweet. I think this one suits me more to spice up other snuffs, than to be taken on its own in the long run.

Toque Vanilla is a nice tobacco snuff with a clean vanilla flavor. I do not find it too sweet. I experienced less bite than other Toques. The flavor is not overdone and it is easy to take. I consider this a neutral flavored snuff; i.e. it does not interfere when taken between other flavored snuffs (floral, citrus, menthol, even schmalzlers). I recommend this snuff to whom would like an easy going snuff.

This is not one of my favorite snuffs, but that is due to my personal tastes, not the quality of this snuff. The flavor is nice, but just a bit too sweet for me. I might add a bit of natural to it in an attempt to tone it down a bit. The flavor does linger for quite some time after sniffing.

These days the term 'vanilla' is often used to refer to something plain, everyday, commonplace or just plain unexciting. Non of those descriptions could ever be applied to any Toque snuff and most certainly not to this one. It's smooth, creamy and very moreish, equally perfect as an all day snuff or for the occasional pinch.

Another example of Toque's mastery and accuracy of flavors. Feels like I'm attacking a plate of fresh out-the-oven cookies. This is also one of the Toque's I need to watch myself with; too easy to snuff too much. I easily polish off a 5 gram tin in a matter of hours if not careful. While the snuff is flavored well enough, it's one of the Toque's that arouses my cravings more than satisfies it. This one, along with the Peanut Butter, a couple of the Fruits and the Toffee especially, are so smooth and mild I really can't get enough. I need to back em up with a stronger snuff just to stop. A flavor I wouldn't normally even be attracted to. Great snuff if not a little low in nicotine. I almost hope they don't release a Vanilla toast, almost.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, which by the way reminds me of the lead pellets I buy for my air-gun. This was my first try of Toque. I was intrigued by the idea of Vanilla, but I prefer the flavour in custard and ice cream. I would no more buy vanilla flavoured snuff than I would buy fish flavoured ice cream. This snuff seems commendably pure, but not one I would be able to finish.

I will be buying more of this one...period. The creamy vanilla flavor scent reminds me of a gourmet angel food cake being baked slowly in a bakery or something. I usually can't take just one pinch of this one and why should I have to ? It really has a nice relaxing after effect too and with no menthol to give you terrible heartburn if you do too much. This one would probably mix very well with just about any other Toque flavor ( hell, probably any snuff for that matter) . I like the absinthe and vanilla mixed, very nice mix. Try adding a touch of Poschls to the mix also. The best of both worlds and a fine establishment altogether. My regards to the chef !

A great subtle vanilla scent. The tobacco and vanilla don't mix as nicely as Toque's Toffee, but still delicious.

No mistaking the lovely vanilla flavour, but can't help thinking that this snuff is rather bland for my taste. Will certainly come back to it especially as I have just had another exploratory pinch!

A nice cleanly scented snuff. Vanilla and Tobacco and that's it. Not cloying or overly sweet. The scent may remind you of some favorite food treat you may have had. Another great thing the Toque line of scented snuffs have going for them is their design with the intention of mixing them. The combinations are endless. Vanilla is a very important flavor to this end. So on it's own or in a mix you'll be glad you have this one.

Another Toque success; a truly delicious, easy on the nose snuff. Flavoured snuffs can be a bit sickly and not the sort of thing that you would want to use more than the occasional pinch of; Toque Vanilla is not one of those. I could happily take this all day long and I put this down to the fact that the flavouring is not overwhelming - you still get the taste of tobacco but backed up by a nice, subtle vanilla scent. Its also a good blender and mixed with Toque Original or Natural gives a pleasing after taste. You can also make a trifle by mixing it with Toque Raspberry!
I must like this stuff, as Ive just realised this is my second review of it!!

i normally hate vanilla. i hate vanilla ice cream, i hate vanilla flavoured tea or coffee, i do not like vanilla cookies.and i HATE vanilla pipe tobacco, which made me even more vary of this. did not order at first.
strangely enough, i like this blend. a lot.
it is incredibly smooth, so smooth that i think "vanilla cream" would be a better name for it. (i normally hate vanilla cream..). it really feels silky in the nose and is incredibly relacing. the scent of vanilla seems to be exactly the right amount. nothing overly sweet, there even is tobacco in the background.
there is nothing artificial about the scent. just mild tobacco and a hint of vanilla and something very very smooth.
this is not unsimilar to toques "toffee" blend, which is equally awesome. i need to mix them for a try..
a relax snuff.
highly recommended, even if you, like me, are not fond of vanilla.

What can I say about this snuff? It is absolutly a perfect Vanilla flavored snuff. It is simply amazing how Toque continues to make scents so perfect. After sniffing this you can taste and feel the creaminess of it. Then aroma of vanilla hits you and stays with you for some time. If you haven't tried this, it is one of Toques best!

This snuff is sublime. A gentle touch of sweet vanilla on top of a smooth, even grind and rich dark brown tobacco. Easy to take and yet still with the nicotine hit that daily users want, it's pretty much a snuff for everyone. And unlike other 'candy' snuffs there is enough character here to please most people
