Reviews for Bespoke Gin & Tonic

Very nice. I dislike gin as a drink but I think of the name "Gin & Tonic" for this snuff as a little more of poetic license. So that's fine. Juniper is the most pronounced flavor here. Others are getting pine, but pehaps that is because juniper is a coniferous tree. I'm gettiing a little lemon, and maybe some thyme. There is a hint of menthol, but only a hint. Well placed. That's the best use for menthol in my opinion. It gives it a simulated fizz. This is really well done and balanced. I'd class it more as an herbal flavor than a gourmand or alcoholic cocktail flavor. Highly recommended. The flavor lasts and lasts too. Sadly its not widely available.

Nice snuff. It is a very complicated flavor. I do not get the Gin and Tonic flavor here. But I recomend this as a good snuff to put into the rotation.

Mid brown, medium grind, medium moisture and with a hefty nose burn. The main aroma is leathery, earthy tobacco in the style of a Kendal Brown, with subtle citrus flavours lurking in the background and a hint of fennel, coriander and cardamom. There is plenty of nicotine and burn, but you'll be disappointed if you want a nasal gin and tonic. It is reasonable as an everyday snuff, but perhaps a bit unexceptional. Rather like an SP in some respects. 6/10.

Before saying anything about this snuff I'd better make it clear that I really don't care for gin and tonic as a drink. Not at all! But.... this snuff isn't bad at all. It's fine and dry but not tricky to take and the flavouring is pleasant. Mainly I get pine/juniper and a citrus taste. Quite refreshing. But I'm not about to try the drink again!

As a lover of gin and tonics, I tried this soon after it came available at Mars. This is my Holy Grail of flavored snuffs. I always enjoy this with some Tanqueray 10 and tonic. It's a great all day snuff that is completely unique.

This one I like it for the tobacco leaf flavor and for its slight burn. This is a good snuff to acquire snuff taking discipline. I love the drink and I have been in a dry country for 9 months. I ordered it believing that, taking it, I would be enjoying the flavor secretly. I can only find a very slight taste of gin and tonic. May be this is a good thing. I like it anyway. On its nicotine content, I am not sure. I recommend it.

Awesome. It is a wonderfully balanced blend of botanicals. This is one of my favorite evening snuffs. The grind is fine and gentle on the nose but I find it very easy to sniff without getting any past the nose. It is somewhat flowery, as would be expected and I think I can make out the juniper, but that might just be my imagination. The nicotine content seems pretty decent, too.

The more I snuff this one the more it appeals to me. What I thought was somewhat under flavored at first is seemingly getting stronger and I'm beginning to pick out more flavors. I find myself liking the extra burn this one imparts even though it doesn't seem inordinately high in nicotine to me. I'm still new to snuffing but will buy this one again for sure (in fact I already have). edit:I've grown to like this one so much, they'll have to pry this snuff from my cold dead fingers! :)

Upon opening the dull smash box I just received in the mail labeled: Bespokes Gin&Tonic a musty smell of pine and lemon creep their way up and to my nose. The smell is not initially pleasing and leaves one with an almost bland recollection of the smell. The pinch of it is only slightly less mediocre. A quick shot of lemon zest is quickly watered down with an almost tasteless tobacco. But as with so many fruits of the citrus nature there is a twist in this review. This is not a snuff for the snuff taker of scarce sights. It is instead created for the seeker of superbly crafted spirits. In other words. This snuff while not extraordinary recommends its self quite nicely to those with a fine taste for fine spirits. The snuff's apparent lackluster is its crowning jewel. Its ability to be unmemorable will allow it to compliment and enhance the memories of those sacred scotches, whimsical wines, and beautifully crafted brandies. I pick up a couple different botanicals such as dried lemon and orange peels, angelica- which has a dill pickle scent, orrisroot powder, juniper berries which have a piney scent and coriander seeds (another name for cilantro) which I think gives it that slight basement smell and is finished off with a hint of the sea. I really enjoy this snuff, one of my favorites.

Still undecided about this one, though, I ain't prepared to give up on it yet. Would still say that it worth a go though.
