Well, the term "mild" might fool some buyers, as the flavour is very far from being mild. As others have written, this makes more sense compared to smokey Scotch snuffs. This is rather a strong toasted tobacco flavour, with next to none smokieness. Very delicious and quite easy to use. A bit metallic at the first few pinches, but that´s far from being bad! One of the Scotch´s with a character of their own, where others aren´t that much standing out in the crowd. The nic doesn´t give me any shakes or sweat spots, but it is satisfying. One to buy again.

I just picked up a fresh can of this yesterday. I agree with all of the above reviews with the exception of the nicotine hit. The flavor is very identical to the typical American smokey Scotch. It is very similar to Garrett or Rooster with perhaps just a tad less smokiness. I believe one would have to be fairly proficient with American Scotches to notice the subtle difference though. Where I did notice a difference was in the bite. Perhaps my can was more fresh, but it did seem easier to take than Garrett or Rooster with a bit less burn. It has teeth tho so be forewarned. Perhaps the ability to ingest larger pinches might account for my strong detection of nicotine effects. This is not a weak snuff by any definition and can get your head spinning. For someone looking to sample the American Scotch experience, this would be a nice place to start. Just don't let the term 'mild' fool you. Only seasoned Scotch users would perceive this as mild in my opinion.

This is a very mild scotch with a slightly sweet flavor. It has a great tobacco aftertaste. Not as big of a nic hit as some of the other scotch snuffs, but great in it's own right.

Mild and pleasant, maybe the least challenging of all of the Scotch snuffs.

As others have said, Dental Mild is indeed mild - easy on the nose, less smoky than other scotches and less powerful in the nicotine department. Having said that it is still a very enjoyable snuff.

I do not go to this one often, but it is a fairly nice scotch snuff on occasion. A bit too weak in the nicotene boost department for me and I find myself taking huge pinches to try to compensate for that. Very smooth for a scotch snuff though and would make a nice baby step for those wanting to gradually work their way into the wonderfull world of the scotch snuffs.

The can says Mild and thats exactly what it is. If you sniff this and then sniff say WE Garrett you can defiantly tell the difference. Dental has less smoky flavor and less of a hit. It is really good though and sometimes it is exactly what I want.

This is one of the cleanest tasting of the American snuffs. Definitely is a mild scotch, has the least amount of smokey bbq scent of all the scotches.

A fine dry slightly sweet American snuff,it has a little less BBQ flavor than other American snuffs, low nicotine, a little bite, clean afterblow, every now and then snuff for me. 4 stars
