De Kralingse's blends are like no one elses, as are their tobaccos. This one is based on the heavy, darkly smokey Latakia rather than the drier, sweeter, lighter Virginia tobaccos of the Prins Regent and Macuba, and it turns out to be a match made in heaven. Peppermint is a "dark" moist mint taste, and it mingles perfectly with the dark, smokey Latakia, along with what tastes like a little eucalyptus, and who knows what else, to create a rough-hewn, dark, smokey yet refreshing snuff that's like no other. It's like the Peppermit forms the core of this snuff, instead of being at the forefront, and is surrounded by all kinds of delicious flavors having to do with smoke, the wood from evergreen trees, earth and clear water. A big, infinitely deep and complex snuff that comes across as being both intensely refreshing and intensely comforting. One of my all time favorites. Quite high nicotine also.

This is my favorite at the moment of the De Kralingse line. Rich dark tobacco with peppermint, it fills the nose with freshness that lingers for some time. You also get that rich tobacco scent that comes with all the De Kralingse snuffs.
I have tried other peppermint snuffs and do not care for any others so far, this one is perfect!

The base tobacco here is the wonderful Latakia AO, rich, deep and smokey. The added flavouring of peppermint, eucalyptus and a touch of menthol works very well here. It´s satisfying and long lasting, but the latakia flavour lasts for hours, where the other flavours aren´t lasting that long. Still longer, than in most other snuffs. It´s coming in the well known spice containers. You should be aware of blowing it out in time, cause any drip is a bit disgusting. But if handled properly, it´s a very good addition in the arsenal.

All the DeK latakias I've tried have been outstanding and the flavoring compliments the extraordinary quality of the base tobacco. This is yet another example of a fantastic snuff, absolutely delicious and unique. I love Wilson's Peppermint but this is nothing like it at all. It shows how much the base changes the snuff.
I understand what Bob said about chain snuffing, this is so tasty you really want to. At the same time, all the DeK snuffs are so heavy in the vitamin N department that I find a couple of pinches has me all set for an hour.
Again, don't get this too far back. You'll be gagging for ages.

While I'm not a big fan of mint flavoured snuffs any more than I am of menthol snuffs, this one isn't bad at all. I'm sure that's due to the Latakia tobacco base. My sample was so fresh that the peppermint flavour was almost overwhelming. A good one for occasional use for me.

This is probably my least favorite of the De Kralingse snuffs I have tried. While I love the other latakia based snuffs, and peppermint snuffs are always a top pick, the two combined did not sit well with me. It is still a good snuff, but not one I use regularly. I think if they used the base tobacco from Prins Regent and added the peppermint flavor I would give it four, or maybe even five stars instead.

This snuff is very good. It makes me think of eating mint candy canes while sitting by a campfire. But it is not candy-like, definitely not a mainstream snuff. Great evening snuff. Nice to take while reading the right book. It is also a happy nightcap for adventurous dreams. Unfortunately, I have to say that it could be a little clogging (don't let this comment deter you from trying it). I highly recommend it to users who like smokiness in their snuff. I also recommend it to the new snuffer who wants a broader spectrum of what is available in the world of snuff.

GReat snuff I rarely order it because I can't not chain snuff it and find myself tearing through enough of it to make myself feel sick. Incredible the tonality of it is perfect I've never once tried another snuff that the tobacco scent and added scent so complemented eachother. The tonality of the tobacco is of the right frequency to work with the peppermunt much like dark choclate does. Great freaking snuff. Not dessert more like fine fine candy.

This is one of my favorites, anytime of the year this one satisfies. There is a strangely addicting quality to this snuff. The peppermint, when fresh can be a bit on the strong side, but that fades to a very pleasant smokey Latakia undertone. The combination of the two flavors is sublime. The scent stays with you for a good while even after the blow. Definitely a wonderfull addition to any snuff collection.

One of DeKralingse's incredible "Latakia" flavored snuffs. This one adds a peppermint flavor to it. The two flavors are perfectly balanced in my opinion. Not "too peppermint". Like their other latakias, this one is very dark, almost black, medium coarse grind, an medium moist when fresh. (You will be blowing these snuffs out in 5 or 10 minutes) When I first heard of this snuff, it didn't really sound like a great combination, but it has become one of my favorites.
