A very fine and dry snuff. Its even finer than American scotch snuffs. The moisture level is dry, but not completely dry. I suspect it is ghee based rather than water or oil. It has a distintive nutty flavor to it and perhaps a touch of spice, but otherwise a good plain scent. It can be extremely challenging to a beginner, so I would advise first mastering scotch snuffs before attempting this. It has a nice strong nicotine punch.

This is an unscented snuff made by Dholakia. A fine grind and very dry, it has a consistency similar to toasts and scotches, and is wonderful! The aroma is simply unscented tobacco, but something about it makes it stand out as undeniably Indian, for lack of better words. This is a fantastic experience for the advanced snuff taker, but can be a bit harsh on the nose.

Nice velvetly very fine grind. First time I've done this snuff and now only for a couple days interspersed with Wilson's 22. Nicotine is stout with this one so if sitting down and repeatedly taking, you might have some trouble standing after the delayed punch. It seems I will get accustomed to this, but even for now, I like it. Get some, go easy at first, enjoy and be soothed by this very high quality snuff.

By far the finest grind I´ve ever seen in a snuff, this could be called powder. A cautious approach is needed to sniff it. The nicotine kick is heavy, had to give it a pause after 3 pinches. Outstanding flavour. Solid tobacco base with a little hint of nuts and a very slight floral scent. But it´s plain tobacco after all, the impressions this one delivers all come from the high class tobacco base. A must try.

This was my first extra fine/very dry snuff. I found the consistency to be very powdery and it presented quite a challenge to take it properly. A year after, it still required patience and practice to take. It has a decent tobacco toast flavor. I find it slightly nutty, but without an expected smoky note. It delivers a moderate nose burn. It satisfies, but does not demand unconditional loyalty. This said, I judge it to be a solid and clean tobacco treat for relaxing.

Very interesting snuff that I keep coming back to. You have to be careful with the fine grind or it will end up at the back of your throat. The flavor is unique and quite exotic. reminds me of the smell of some exotic woods in the fire.

I received a 50g tub of Sparrow today. Grabbed a huge double pinch - and it blew my head off! It was like the first time I tried High Toast! The color is light brown, very dry, which I love, and the nicotin hit is scary! The scent of this unflavored snuff is very reminiscent of some Esfahan tumbak, that I have used for my hookah. This is an awesome snuff, and I'm glad that I finally got my hands on it. Will definitely keep this in my collection.

Pale, very fine and very dry, this is an excellent snuff along the lines of a high dry toast or an American dry scotch. While the pure tobacco flavour predominates, there is a distinct yet subtle hint of spice which sets it apart from it's cousins. Well worth trying!

Dholakia just seemed to spring out of nowhere, now I can't see a time when Dholakia snuff will not be a part of my snuffing rotation. One of the reasons is this fantastic snuff - fine, tasty, satisfying. Another reason is the Dholakia bullets actually deliver a decent amount of snuff and you don't have to take repeated doses - especially with a fine snuff like this - to get a decent hit. Very convenient and discreet.
If you like your snuff dry and potent you will like this one. I think US scotch users would get on fine with this snuff. 5 stars!!

Ah, this is wonderful stuff but be careful, small piches to be taken until you're used to it. Can't take it every day but it's strong pure, honest tobacco. I love taking it when I'm relexed and not in a hurry. I love to savour it while watching a Bollywood film all by myself. Never ever wanna be without it.

A very good unflavored tobacco snuff. Excellent quality and very enjoyable for those time when nothing but a straight plain tobacco will do. Not a good snuff for beginners due to the extra fine dry grind but seasoned noses will appreciate the pure, high quality tobacco goodness.

A very fine dry snuff from India.Dholakia says its a natural tobacco snuff that can be used orally as well.There seems to be a subtle but exotic and aromatic side note to this that really goes well with it,comes in a 5gr. sachet.The fine grind may be difficult at first for the beginner to take but the technique is soon mastered.Nicotine is on the medium side and makes for a good all day snuff!
