I'm not sure why so many reviewers think this is either identical to, or a slight variation of O&G. Its much different! For starters, its stronger in menthol. Secondly it has a very pronounced eucalyptus flavor that makes it unique among McChrystal's menthols. Also it lacks the characteristic citrus/herbal/camphor flavor that makes O&G so recognizable. This is an altogether different snuff. Don't waste time on the red tap out boxes or you are sure to get a stale batch. Go instead for the round tins. Very good. Strong menthol, but not too much for this former anti-menthol zealot!

I owe the reviewers to have given this one a try. Highland Ice sounded too much of strong and only menthol to me, but that ain´t the case. The menthol plays a big part in here, though, but the combination with camphor and eucalyptus creates a superb mixture. The menthol itself is strong, but not too sharp or over the top, perfect dosage and it has a very good taste by itself. No burn. Easy to take. A perfect one in my book and very highly recommended. Just don´t go for the 3,5 g mini tins really, they won´t last a day and leave you crying.

Highland Ice is a very enjoyable product from Mc Chrystal. It is a medicated snuff with the same background notes of McC's O&G, but with a finer and moister grind and a sharper (maybe cooler?) but not intrusive menthol flavor. Although the grind is finer, the added moisture makes it easy to take; its nose bite is very low. Altogether, it is a delectable and distinguishable variation of their O&G. I highly recommend it to the fans of O&G and to medicated snuff aficionados.

I suspect this snuff is the same as O&G, but packed in an 8g flip-top red dispenser. The grind was finer than O&G though and had slightly less nicotine? Anyway, this is a top quality menthol/camphor/eucalytpus snuff; nice and fluffy and easy to take. However, I prefer to pinch my snuff so I will stick to the O&G in tins.

Nice cool menthol easy to use not much nicotine easy to use all day. Vary easy to use an 8g pack in 2 days.

Like a lighter version of O&G, though I suspect they are identical. Very nice indeed and one to add to the "must reorder" list.

betonente has said it all. I only recently started on this snuff, I regret not finding it years ago! The strange thing McCrystals say it is their O. G., but packed for the overseas market. Must be the different container!

very similar to the original and genuine of the same manufacturer.
finely ground and quite moist it is. very good to be snuffed from the back of your hand.
the menthol is a bit stronger than in the o&g and it feels more "icy". it is not sweet though.
i prefer this to the o&g and want to highly recommend it.
