Another one in a 25g tub fresh from Kendal (see my GH Carnation review for the new screw down tubs). This is the first time I'm giving 5 stars to a Gawith Hoggarth snuff. Its really good. To judge from Wilson's Wallflower (which is excellent) one might think that Wallflower was just another name for violet. This snuff does not make me think that. This is a unique floral scent. Very strong but balanced with a touch of lemon or bergamot. Mildly sweet. Its medium moist and dark brown (not like sand as in the tap boxes). There's absoulutely no abrasiveness in this snuff that GH has got a reputation for. The snuff even clumps together in sticky balls its so moist. It can get a little runny, but nothing a handkerchief can't handle. Excellent!

Good strong perfumed snuff - if you like thigs like Otterghound, Royal George, Jockey Club and the like you a should enjoy this.

Perfume is to strong for me, it kills the tobacco all togeterher. Very fine and sneezy, not for me.
