This one was a delightful surprise! First, it is a little finer and drier than most of the other GH snuffs even fresh from the mill in the new 25g mini drum, but its still much moister than anything I've gotten from one of their tap boxes. Also the whisky flavor is clearly there and quite nice. Also I can taste a strong natural tobacco flavor that reminds me of Toque Natural. Of course, the whisky flavor also reminds me of their Whisky & Honey, sans the honey, so its not quite as sweet. My only complaint about this is the flavor fades pretty fast, but I could see getting this in a bulk drum someday.

Are you sure this is supposed to taste like whiskey? I get no scent from it whatsoever. Maybe I got some really old stock, but I'm not planning on getting another tin anytime soon to try again. I don't even get a hint of tobacco flavor here. This is one of my few disappointments from GH.

I really have to work hard trying to find the whisky on this one. When I believe I nailed it down, it disappears. If anything find a stylish tobacco flavor with the slightest hint of whisky. It is dry and easy to over sniff. It provides a moderate tobacco burn that satisfies. To me, the best thing about it is that it non-distracting. I do not like to take this snuff to relax. Instead, I like to take it when I am busy doing something, then I pause for a short snuff taking break, then I keep doing what I was doing with stimulus.

This is a nice, light, golden snuff and has a pleasant overall flavour. I'm not overly convinced there is much whisky in it. Its one of those thats just nice to have sitting there in your collection for the occasional pinch when you remember its there.

more of a hint of whiskey. Adds a slightly (very slightly) peaty sweetness. Subtle and delcious. Not what you'd thinik of when thinking whiskey but it adds the same kind of sweetness that bourbons tend to have.

Fine and fairly dry. Not a strong whisky taste but not bad at all. Quite a refreshing flavour in fact. Now that I have revisited this one I am inclined to rate it slightly higher than before. Perhaps my tastes are changing!

One of the few GH snuffs I can enjoy. Not a noticeable whisky but more like the scent you would get from a freshly emptied bottle of 10 High. This snuff is a fine dry snuff and really light in color.
