Now, this is funny! I, who am usually more critical of snuffs than my fellow reviewers, am giving this its highest rating so far. Perhaps I was lucky enough to get a fresher sample? I certainly detect menthol in this. Its not a heavy menthol at all, but its a nice amount if you like that sort of thing from time to time. However, the menthol seems to clash with the base tobacco which seems to be the same as the Lotzbeck Vanille (except without the vanilla). That same base reminds me of Bernard's Gekachelter Virginie. Its a smokey rich, almost latakia tobacco, and combined with menthol seems to confuse my nose. Not terrible. Not wonderful.

I'll be the voice of dissent for this one. To me this snuff tastes like a sweetish pipe tobacco with a touch of menthol. The flavor is lasting and enjoyable, though I would like it more with a finer grind and a bit less moisture. The snuff tends to clump in the container.

Nope... still can't find the dead rat in this one. Perhaps a mouse or two. That's not to say that it's a good snuff though. I can detect the merest hint of menthol, but only a hint, and there isn't much to be said about the tobacco base either. One to avoid.

Bad, bad and an extra order of death on the side. I am with betonente that it has zero menthol and is like snuffing a dead rat.

the worst snuff i ever tried. zero stars.
it is fine round and of a dirt-brown colour.
i can not detect any menthol in it. there is only a sickening sweet stench to it, that - literally - makes me sick. to me there are notes of rotting carcass to this snuff. absolutely horrible.
the box is of very poor quality too and the lid breaks of very easily.
the price is good though..
(but if you want a cheap snuff, westfalen prise is way better and even a few cents cheaper)
