This is the better of the Lotzbeck snuffs I have tried. This is Premium Mild. I have seen one just called "Premium" online, but I don't know if it is the same or not. Both have indentical packaging & colors, but different names.
This is more or less an inoffensive German style snuff. Its fluffy and moist, and has a slight smokey-tobacco first scent, then a fruity scent develops in the nose. That fruity scent is closest to Pöschl's defunct Silverstone Orange, but this is better than that one. The scenting seems a tad artificial, which costs this snuff a star. I'm quite curious about the not mild "Premium."
On the back it translates: "Smokeless Tobacco benefit from a trusted House since 1812"

I'm inclined to agree with Troutstroker on this one - it's not one I'm likely to get again. Having said that I think it has the edge on the Perle. It's dark, fairly coarse and fairly moist.
It has a sort of rich leaf mould scent with a touch of smokiness which does linger longer than one might expect. Not bad but not great.

With this one I get an earthy, strong tea, rotted leather smell. I did enjoy this one the first few times I tried it but now I could do without it.
