This is a very good scotch. Its about mid range on the smokiness level. Its very similar to Navy. It has a slight richness to it, hinting at the sweetness one gets in the sweet scotches. Great care must be taken when learning how to take scotch snuffs without pain. This is not the best one for learning, but neither is it the worst.

One of my favourite Scotches out of this huge range. It's easy to sniff and has very light smokiness combined with a hint of dark chocolate. I don't like this standard strong fire smell of the others!

Not too far from Swisher´s Starr scotch, this one is very smooth, plain and satisfying. Very easy to take for a scotch! I get a slight coconut flavour, which I´m quite fond of. A very good toasted tobacco flavour here. Most likely a rebuy for me.

This is one of my favourite American scotches. It is a plain scotch (rather than a strong scotch) and it has a smokiness that seems to linger longer than most and it is impressively smooth, making it easier to take than some others. It's very light on the burn yet has a good level of nicotine. Curiously the colour seems to be a light khaki, not that that is necessarily a bad thing. Definitely on my "must re-order" list.

Plain and boring for a scotch in the nose. Burns a little though. Without some scent interest I find it hard to keep it out of my throat. Seems like it needs some scenting to add interest. A vanilla bean will work here. Thanks to Tom at Nicotine Rush for the sample packs. Without his efforts to split up and share the "Americans" I'd still be high and dry (pun intended).

Seems a much milder scotch than, say, Garrett, but is very tasty. I'm not sure why you would spend more for a high dry toast when this is available at the corner store, except that there seems to be some additive that dries out the nose. Either that or it is just so dry that I feel the need to irrigate my nose with saline after a couple of snuffs.

This is a great scotch snuff with a little more charred wood to it than the Navy.
