This is Bernard's answer to Glestscherprise, or perhaps its the other way round. Its much superior, though. The menthol is not as overbearing and the herbal flavoring, while similar, is not identical and is also more pleasing and less sweet. The grind is somewhat finer, and it doesn't have Pöschl's typical waxyness. Bernard, no doubt, use a superior oil as the base moisture of their snuffs. It will never be a favorite for me, as I am not a menthol lover, but I would reccomend it to anyone who uses Glestcherprise on a regular basis.

My favouritre Menthol-Schmalzler. I like the change from menthol/peppermint to this earthyness and heavy leather smell. Also 6 stars worth!

I fully enjoy this snuff because it has a solid tobacco flavor. Its menthol is not overpowering and, to me, it accentuates the blend very well. Excellent and not sweet. I highly recommend it.

I really want to give this snuff a three and a half. I like this snuff quite a bit. I find it very similar to the amostrina in a lot of ways but with a touch more schmalzer scent and a touch less of the smokiness. Though this is a snuff that I don't go out of my way for. If it was avilable in america I'd buy it somewhat regularly. If I'am going to order a bernards and pay international shipping I'd get my favorite bernards in quanity. Though I love the box and the label.

obviuosly an atack on gletscherprises marketshare. not a bad one. the menthol is not as hard-hitting as in gletscherprise. the tobacco has a darker and more grounded note and seems more stable and less dependent on the menthol base than the poeschl. but there is something rough in there and there are certain cigar-like tones that do not go well with menthol.

Mild menthol, mild peppermint but with an underlying schmalzler/herbal tone. Really rather nice.
