This was quite a delightful surprise! Having done a gathering and comparison of those snuffs with the 'Princes' name I came across this one. Princes Gold (formerly known as Princes Light). Its not a dark moist snuff at all. Its light and golden in color! It seems to use the same base as the SP Scotch (another review also said SP Top Mill). So this is a much lighter grind than what you would think of as a 'Princes' type. The scenting is floral (I think tonquin and geranium), probably the same scentings they use for Princes but with the addition of bergamot. Basically its an SP but with the addition of the Princes' scenting.

I find the Princes Gold´s flavour to a certain degree comparable to the F&T´s Macouba. The rose and geranium (and a nice citric flavour which becomes more obviously bergamot when blowing out) in here are strong and delightful, but by far not as perfumey and heavy as the F&T and so you can take pinch after pinch without being overwhelmed. That´s perfect enjoyment. The scent also stays for some time in a very nice way. One of the best SG´s imo.

Labelled as Princes Gold on the dispenser, this light brown snuff is very easy to take due to the fine, moist, fluffy grind. It is quite similar to their SP no. 1 High Mill, but has a lovely mild geranium and rose scent and a hint of bergamot. The scent lingers nicely and is not overpowering. One of my favourite all day snuffs. 9/10.

Medium brown/tan. Medium moist and medium fine. Nicely scented with rose and geranium.
