The slightly smokey one of the three Sternecker's. Well done I say! These schmalzlers are very clean blowing with lot's of nicotine and delicious tobacco scents. All are plainish not sweet compared to the Poschl and Bernard schmalzlers, a good thing in my opinion, making these outstanding in their field.

Compared to the Straubinger, this one has some more woody and nutty notes. Not sweet like many schmalzlers. Its only slightly sweet due to the fine fermented tobacco used. It has a very slight smokeyness to it, but again much less than the big name German snuff makers. Fresko: very fresh and uplifting. Its very light and fluffy. One can take multiple large doses of this. I still need to get the Echt Fresko to compare. I like this a bit better than the Straubinger.

My favorite Schmalzler. Great long, lingering scent of leather and date schmalzler goodness. Reminds me of hiking in central german forests and drinking Altbier every time I snuff it.

Deliciously rich, dark, moist and satisfying. Very similar to the Echt Fresko.
