The base of this seems to be Pöschl´s Ozona tobacco, with a little extra menthol, basically. But the flavour of this one is quite odd. It´s a recreation of mulled wine. And as much as I like that (but only during winter), it´s taste and creation of that comfy feeling is far better than the smell, which is mainly due to cloves being added. Hardly bearable, if you dislike clove. Also, there seems to be an orange scent inside, which of course, isn´t part of mulled wine. Strange enough. But even more annoying than the clove, which at least could appeal to people digging it, is the sickening sweetness. Maybe this one´s not so bad after 1/2 to 1 bottle of mulled wine in your stomach and lots of snow outside, when you don´t care too much what´s inside your nose or going on outside your cabin (and you´ve lost the better part of your ability to smell).

The flavouring of this one seems to be a mixture of menthol, eucalyptus, herbs and spices. I'm sure there are cloves in there which is never a good thing for me (reminds me of going to the dentist). Enough said I think.

another snuff in poeschls series of locally available snuffs. in a 10g bag. the design of the same is mostly and blue and has a hammer and pickaxe symbol on it, clearly indicating this snuff as being marketed to miners.
but i wonder why so many miners would like this.
the grind is medium and it is quite moist. goes nicely in the nose and stays there. so far so good.
the taste is the problem here. the menthol is not overpowering, but i wish it was. what lingers in my nose is a taste similiar to the poeschl gawith cola (which well might have taken some inspiration from this stuff), but strangely of. there is sometjing sweet and spicy in it, like in christmas cookie dough. think german "spekulatius" if you know what that is. i love spekulatius, but not in my snuf. very strange. another similiar taste might be cheap sangria. a hint of cloves. all too sweet.
the tobacco base is solid, but this abuse of aromas was too much for it, it seems.
might be an acquired taste.
