There's nothing particularly wrong with this snuff, when speaking in terms of the snuff itself. It seems to be a quality tobacco, slighly smokey and not overshadowed by a light menthol. This is actually how I would like menthol snuffs, just enough to give a nose clearing effect, but so much as to freeze my brain. There is nothing particularly outstaning about this snuff either, which means its one to try, write a review, use up and then forget about it.
Sadly, this has one horrible defieciency, and that is the packaging. Zuka is only available in a non-refillable bullet. Firstly, the fact that its not refillable smacks of the casual disposable nature of our society and just rubs me the wrong way. Secondly the comparative high price of this snuff is due in large part to this bullet. They are a lot more expensive than tins or tap boxes and only hold a small amount of snuff. The bullet itself is also tempermental. At times it gives snuff and others it does not. I managed to go through about 5 or 6 succesful turns and get enough to pour out and pinch. Using the bullet as it is intended would never allow me to give the snuff a fair review. The cobalt blue color of the bullet, while attractive, prevents one from actually knowing if the damned thing is empty or not, or if there is a blockage somewhere. Also since there is no way to open it or even remove the valve without breaking it, the only way to remedy the blockage is by banging it on a hard surface.
The market for this was people who were completely unfamiliar with snuff, and to be sold in discos and nightclubs after the onset of smoking bans. Perhaps it will work there. For me the bullet is so poor an option its one to forget. I'd give it a third star if it were sold in tins.

Dark brown, quite dry and of medium grind and only available in a non-refillable bullet. Subtle menthol is followed by many aromas. I picked up rubber, leathery tobacco, some sweetness, dark chocolate, slightly synthetic orange, and something herbal or grassy in the finish. To be honest, the flavour combination is a total mess, as if someone at Bernards had an accident with one of their schmalzers and offloaded it on a trendy new snuff manufacturer. It isn't unpleasant though and it is certainly unique, but I can't see it being very appealing to virgin snuffers (despite it being easy on the nose), nor veterans who will reel at paying so much money for so little snuff in a disposable bullet. A generous 4/10.

Hehe, this is clearly too funny. It´s the Wilson´s Chocolate Orange plus a decent amount of menthol. So far so good. But this one comes at a cost of 3,49 (2g) compared to Wilson´s 0,89 (5g). Ok, you also get an unpractical, unrefillable bullet and the menthol, but I guess you allready get the point... don´t pay for a marketing gag. Get the Wilson´s (one of my favourites) and mentholate it (if needed).

Okay, so the acrylic (I think) bullet is an attractive transparent blue and I actually seem to be able to get a reasonable amount out of it, enough for one nostril anyway, but it really is a shame that the bullet is sealed and can't be refilled. Not that I care for sniffing straight from the bullet but it taps out onto the back of the hand well enough. A sad case of the cost of the snuff being overshadowed by the cost of the container. As for the snuff itself, it is a mid-brown, medium grind, lightly mentholated snuff of no particular distinction. The menthol doesn't completely mask the base tobacco, which strikes me as possibly having potential if it wasn't mentholated.

I believe that Zuka Black is an enjoyable snuff. But it frustrates me. Its hip dispensing bullet keeps me wanting more. I wish that I could pinch it. On the snuff: it has the cooling characteristics of a nice menthol, with smoky leather nuances similar to Bernard’s Offenbacher Cardinal (which I love). Sadly, unless I find it in a “pinchable” form (i.e. tin or box), I will not get more of this. I believe that I can get enough maná from Bernard’s aforementioned and Wilsons’ SM Blue. Bottom line: I recommend it to casual snuff takers, if you don’t mind non-openable bullets.

The Zuka snuff comes in a paper box similar in shape & size to a packet of cigarettes. Inside the box is a pre-filled non reusable bullet which holds 60 doses. Also included in the box is a fairly decent handkerchief. The Zuka does have a nice bullet as far as the dose but wish it was refillable. Upon first snuff the first thing that came to my mind was Poschl Packards Club. Not at all bad but nothing impressive either. Pretty pricey for the actual amount of snuff you get. The only reason it got 3 stars was because of the included handkerchief but the price for the amount of snuff you get keeps it low on rating. I think its more of a starter package where you get the snuff and handkerchief all in one package.
