A moderatley mentholated snuff. I'm not sure it really compares to an English style medicated snuff like the packaging indicates. The menthol is not overbearning, but is reasonably strong enough for the style. The taste is slightly sweet but there is an odd taste beyond the sweetness that I don't care for. Its not bad but its not one I'd go out of my way to get again.

A reasonably mentholated version of the typical Dholakia base tobacco. Compared to some strongly medicated snuffs, the amount of menthol is medium here, enough to open up, but not too much to be unpleasant or hard to snuff. Still, it masks the tobacco flavour a bit. I think they´ve done a better job with the Ice Cool snuff, though it seems the tobacco being used there is something different to the one here, which is also finer in grind and not as strong in nicotine. Easy to take, but I have the impression it won´t satisfy those into medicated snuffs, neither as those who like menthol only when it enhances the other flavours, if "only" the tobacco flavour.

This is a great snuff! It has an exotic, sweet tobacco base and is carefully medicated. Neither the menthol nor the sweetness of the base is overpowering. This is one of my favorite mentholated snuffs.

Dholakia’s Medicated has the signature tobacco notes of other Dholakias, F.U.B.A.R.s and Quit with Snuffs renditions. It is easy to take with little nose bite and almost non-clogging. I find it a satisfying medicated snuff when I am not looking for a powerful menthol. I do enjoy it more than F.U.B.A.R.’s Medic or QwS’s Ice Cool. To menthol fans: I recommend it over the latter two, but I suggest more McChrystal’s and Wilsons’ menthols.

Sweet and mentholated. It's very unique compared to other menthol style snuffs and has a much more complex scent/flavor. It's nice and nasal clearing and doesn't tend to make my nose run as much as some of the others. Nice.

Very sweet almost candy like without going over the top. The menthol isn't too strong definatly the menthol I pick when not trying to open my breathing but to just enjoy the scent of menthol. Wonderfull snuff and easy to use. Need to get a tub of this one soon.

Medium-dark brown and medium-fine grind. Refreshing medicated taste without being too strong on the menthol. For Dholakia have the right approach when it comes to putting menthol in snuff - don't use too much! I like to be able to taste the tobacco and with these snuffs I can.

I liked this one from sniff one as it's a menthol with a little flavor behind it, not just another brainfreezer. I confess too that while I enjoyed the 'other flavor' behind it, I never did recognize what it was, until I read Spyro's review. Now that's a cola flavor that isn't flat. This is one great snuff and blows Poschl's attempt at a cola out of the proverbial water. I don't know if Dholakia intended the cola flavor, but that's certainly what I get out of it now. Great snuff and a solid 4.

I think that I overlooked this one! After reading th reviews and taking 3 nice blasts consecutively,I can honestly say that my nose feels great,this is a nice addition to anyones collections and I definitely detect the cola aroma. I just didn't put 2+2 together but I am beginning to grasp what the Poschl line offers in their cola snuff.
This one is nice in the bullet(as opposed to the choc),as well and clears the passages with ease. On a different note, I can't wait until Dholakia comes up with a vanilla that is as good as the chocolate! 4.4 nostrils

Everyone else pretty much summed this up. However, am I the only one that noticed a 'cola' type undertone to this snuff? Maybe it was just my batch. Wasn't a bad thing but just surprised no one else noticed it since it hit me right away and was consistent each time I used it. I liked the way this blend felt when my nose got sore and chapped. Its very gentle.

Now I'd call this a menthol snuff! Tasty at that. Mild easy to take super fine ground menthol/tobacco. Simple enough. The English have this beat with eucalyptus and camphor in their medications. Good tobacco here in Dholakia. I sure would like to see a more coarse grind with it.

Dholakia snuff is just blowing me away (was that a pun?) Until I started using the new range I had said many times on forums that I could not stand menthol snuff. That was for the simple reason that, for my taste, menthol snuffs lack flavour and have the subtlety of your average house brick, with no tobacco taste and menthol added, seemingly, by the bucket load. At last, a manufacturer that is able to flavour the snuff with a gentle touch and still retain the flavour of the tobacco. This is head clearing, easy on the nose, delicious in its own right and delicately blended. A triumph - other companies beware; Dholakia are seriously good at making snuff.

A very nice snuff despite its rather uninspired name. Pleasantly minty and without an original menthol blast. Dholakia seem to use menthol sparingly and to good effect. This could be a good all day 'medicine'

Dholakia Medicated Snuff is probably one of the nicest “cool” snuffs I have done. I say “cool” because I do not know if menthol is the only thing that gives its minty freshness. It feels somehow smoother than the other menthols I have done. I have done other menthols that are great, but you have to have a nose of steel in order to tolerate the first ten seconds of intense “mint.” Not so with Dholakia’s Medicated. I still enjoy a super intense menthol burn, but when I need a good snuff to make my nose feel clean and clear, without making my eyes water, this is easily my first choice.

This is a very good snuff. Notice I didn't say menthol snuff. I didn't do this because the lines are profoundly drawn amongst menthol and non-menthol users. This is a snuff unlike most that crosses any such divide. It is dark brown in color a medium grind and dry snuff. But how's the menthol you ask. Just perfect mildly cooling and perfectly clearing. Will not smash you in the face but will not leave you wanting anymore. Quite nice and refreshing whilst satisfying and giving you true tobacco flavor and enjoyment.
Regardless of your predilections, I believe everbody should give this a Sniff.

this is just a mild menthol snuff.
nothing exciting and nothing disturbing. a no-brainer and a nice one at that.
it probably would work as an all-day snuff, as the menthol is weak enough to not kill your nose and the tobacco base is very solid.
the flavour fades quickly. that too could be good in an all-day snuff.

Dholakia medicated snuff is very mild menthol snuff. It’s probably one of the mildest on the market. I would suggest if you are not a fan of strong medicated snuff. Even if you do not like medicated snuff at all, this may be the snuff for you. Especially if your like me and have experienced congestion after using strong medicated snuff. It has a nice undertone of fine tobacco, and its finely ground as well. I personally did not experience an unpleasant stuffy nose or congestion. I see myself using this one at night as well.

I think dajawu hit the nail on the head when he made the McChrysal's OG connection. The similarities are definitely there. There is a very nice cooling effect that settles in after a couple of sniffs, that seems to permeate the sinuses. Very nice unclogging feeling. This is my first day with this snuff and I can definitely see myself spending allot more time with this one. Could turn into an all day snuff on those days when a nice mild menthol just seems to hit the spot. The new English grind makes it an easy one to take for beginners.

This is a medium grind, medium moist snuff of medium-dark brown color. It seems to have about medium nicotine content. I would put the medicated tone at a medium level. The very first initial aroma I picked up was a spicy mint which disappeared as soon as the cooling effect kicked in. Once the cooling tones down a bit, there is a pretty decent tobacco tone to be enjoyed with a faint earthy backdrop.

I am starting to like this snuff a lot. It is as most medicated snuffs go which makes it top on my list. It comes in a tub or bullet which makes it very continent. If you like McChyrstal's O&G you should defiantly give this one a try.
