This is the best of the citrus snuffs I have tried. The orange (and lemon undertone) are so natural you'd think you'd have just peeled a fresh one. This grind seems to be a little finer than the other Toques that I've had, but its still an easy snuff to take. After the scent goes away, you're left with the great tobacco base that Toque uses. It all blends together so well.

This was really nice when I first got it, it had a nice somewhat tart but not too sweet or too strong orange smell, but unfortunately it starts to fade even if you keep it in its tin and baggied and don't use it much. It's keeping its flavor much better than the grapefruit (gotten at the same time same size and stored the same way) and still has a nice 'zing' to it and if taken just right can still give a little pleasing eye-watering experience. I plan to try to use this up before it fades away. Its a good snuff. 4 stars.

Easy for beginnners, but it may end up in the back of the throat if you are not careful, nicotine is medium,it has a nice burn, but is comfortable, the note is citrusy which I like a lot. Easy on the nose I just which it had more nicotine in it and that's way I rating it 4 stars.

A great citrus snuff. Citrus is a bit like menthol - love it or hate it, but I love this. I have not enjoyed snuffs of a similar vein in the past but with typical Toque elan this is a winner. A clean flavour and the usual mild nicotine hit make this a snuff that beginners and old timers alike will enjoy.

Can´t even say that it´s a mixture of orange and lemon, as I receive it as if they were both very present at the same time. I´d say the base tobacco isn´t the best choice for this snuff, as it has way too much character on its own. Too distracting. Still, a very fine product and highly enjoyable in the summer season.

God, I love this one. This is one of the few snuffs that I purchase in 25g tins. Roderick has developed, in my opinion, the perfect orange blend! Not overpowered or underpowered, St. Clements will provide your nostrils a smooth orange flavor with just a hint of lemon. If you do find the flavor overpowering, try mixing it with Toque's Spanish Gem for a truly unique experience. I often have a pinch of St. Clements with breakfast and I think I'm beginning to enjoy it more than my OJ.

'"Oranges and Lemons" say the bells of Saint Clement's' says the old nursery rhyme. There is also a orange & lemon non alcohol cocktail by this name, so you can take a guess as to what the flavor of Toque St. Clements is. (I do not think the name refers to the fruit, Clementine) In either case this is a citrus flavored snuff, and I love citrus fruits and citrus snuffs!
First off, the grind is typical of most Toque snuffs, which is medium fine. However the moisture content also typical of Toque is pretty high, making this suitable for the advanced beginner.
The orange flavor is stronger than that of the lemon, but both are distinguishable. It almost reminds me of orangeade which I have not had since childhood. Having said all of that, the flavor is not overbearing, it reamains in the background even with a large pinch.
I would buy this one again.
I have heard, though not experienced, that this snuff will quickly lose its flavor under certain conditions. Mine as of this writing is a few months old and is still holding its scent, but a word of warning to keep your tins closed. Keep them airtight if possible.

Fine grind, pale brown, and medium moist. Obvious lemon and orange zest which smells convincing and not artificial, but a metallic and wet dog aroma spoils things. Not one I can tolerate for long. 3/10.

Great citrus flavor. Oranges! Refreshingly tangy, but not overwhelming. I think that it is ideal to enjoy in the summer. Easily, an all day snuff for me. Little burn and easy to take. Memorable and fresh.

Fresh orange! I can't pick out the lemon but I get a hybrid type citrusy orange. I've got way too many favorites of Toque now. I can't see how I'm going to keep up with the prolific Roderick.

I love this snuff and use it as an all day snuff. The citrus smell is strong but not overwhelming. After the first hit, the lemon smell falters and leaves a nice tobacco taste. The overall effcect of orange, lemon and tobacco are well balanced and I can sit for hours, watch TV, and take pinch after pinch after pinch. I'm on my second 25gram tin and my next order will be for a 50gram packing. It also mixes well with other snuffs.

There is a genuinely citrussy hit to this. You can believe there is orange and lemon peel in this. It has purity and panache. Unfortunately it also reminds me of stale urine and old lady's knickers. It's my second Encounter with Toque and the firm obviously has fans, but I am not one of them.

A clementine in a can. I love clementines and I love this snuff. The scent is fresh and sweet not bitter and a slight burn. It also mixes well with anything that you want to add some sweet citrus to.

Another fine offering from Berwick!
The St Clements is slightly paler in colour than many of the Toque snuffs, though not as pale as the two new Toasts. The grind seems slightly finer than many as well, though it is still easy to take and easy on the nose.
On taking a pinch the initial flavour rush is of good quality fresh oranges, and nothing remotely chemical, as we have come to expect of Toque's snuffs. As the flavour settles in the nose the lemon flavour comes through nicely, without overwhelming. Finally the good quality tobacco makes its presence felt.
Overall very enjoyable and very satisfying.

The citrus flavouring is certainly not overwhelming, and I find that it is more enjoyable the oftener I use it. The Toque 10g tins are ideal for my use.

Another great citrus offering from Toque. This snuff enters with a nice sweet orange tone and is complimented with a twist of lemon. The overall scent hangs on nicely and once it starts to fade, your left with a soft sweetness in the nose & a light sweetness is detectable even a minute or two after you blow it out. It is an easy snuff to take and enjoy. Its sweetness does keep me from using it all day but all in all is a great flavor.

Having never tried the liquor, I cannot make any comparisons to it. The combination of orange and lemon is perfect with the classic Toque tobacco scent underlying it all. The orange and lemon scents have a zest like smell, very fresh. There is a very nice lingering of citrus that stays a pretty good while. This could definitely become a new favorite. I also purchased this one in the new Toque 10g tins and they are very nice, perfectly pocket sized with a new inset within the lid that keeps a nice seal to keep the snuff fresh. Another fine offering from what has become my favorite maker of snuff.
