Reviews for Poschl Ozona Cherry

Another cough drop snuff. Its very similar to the other Ozonas I have sampled. The cherry flavor is very slight but sweet, and what I can taste of it is not natural. The menthol is too strong, rather overpowering, and the parrafin wax base drips into my throat (with the menthol) and causes gagging. In this sense it is identical to most Pöschl snuffs, but the Ozonas in the round tins are the worst. I actually almost prefer the Raspberry and Orange to this one, though "prefer" is the wrong word. The snuff is too clumpy to come out of the dosing hole nicely, also. That same view applies to the other rotating tin ones too.

Somehow I´m not able to finish a tin of this snuff, it always ends up being grabbed by my dad. So, how could I say anything bad about it. I think it´s a very decent Pöschl, with all the typical and well known qualities of their range. The dispenser would be better, if you wouldn´t have to turn and turn and keep on turning it till you get to the opening. The Singletons tin is much better, cause you have stoppers built in, making it quite fast. Also the hole is pretty small. Well, the cherry flavouring is the well known artificial one found in food or sweet drinks. Not a single cherry on this planet tastes like this, but you immediately associate it with being "cherry". Pretty sweet, but a nice one, once in a while.

I can acquire this snuff locally, which is a plus, but this snuff doesn't do it for me. The cherry is not a good, natural cherry, but rather a sweet, candy type. The snuff is saturated in menthol, which makes for a snuff that tastes of cough drops. It is going to take me a long time to finish the 5 gram tap-out tin.

This one was my introduction to Snuffing, so I owe it that much. It has a pleasant enough Kool-Aid-ish flavour, with a satisfying Menthol note. As training wheels Snuff, it's not the most horrible thing out there, but I can't see myself buying it again.

Ozona Cherry reminds me of fresh cherry pipe tobacco. Unlike Ozona Spearmint and Orange, the Cherry flavor really comes through. The tin I am using seems to be overly moist with a somewhat high nicotine hit. I agree with others here that the Cherry flavor is artificial; however, it rivals some of the better Cherry pipe tobaccos I have used. For an interesting twist, I sometimes mix it with Toque Cherry which, in my opinion, seems to provide a more natural Cherry flavor. I have also used it in combination with Dholakia's Swiss Chocolate... all I can say is yum! If you are a fruit lover, this one is a must addition to your collection.

Um... not too bad but not real good either kind of like cherry cough syrup flavored. It is mostly a strong menthol with a faint artificial cherry background. I do like to take a bump of this every now and again but i much prefer the She cherry sample that i got from dholakia. Edit: after using for a good long time i now really like the ozona cherry and aside from the menthol get a good dark sweet cherry scent from it

The only thing I have to compare this one with is the Dean Swift variety and this one is much better. Course and fragrant, I always do 2 in a row because I like it so much in fact, I've just done 3 and I could see doing this one every day. I added some Toque Vanilla in equal parts and was also very happy with the outcome. I look very forward to a lemon or a lime flavored snuff that is readily available.....and what about an apple flavor ? or peaches and cream.... 8.9 nostrils

I find this to be an extremely nasty snuff. I think the name should be changed to Ozona airfreshener cheap candy menthol trainingwheels snuff. It has a super fake scent. However this snuff is so easy to use that I call it a trainingwheels snuff. I really think it smells horrid and chemicaly. Everytime I take a pinch I wonder what the chemical compostion of the fake smell is. I also wonder if it is really made out of tobacco or that stuff that cheap cigars wrapers are made of.

I find this snuff to be very artificial - or synthetic - in flavour and the base tobacco to be very bland. 'Candy' snuffs serve a good purpose; they introduce folks to snuff and hopefully some of those are smokers who will improve their health as a result. Of course we all have different tastes and lots of seasoned snuffers use this, but for me Alois Poschl snuffs are way down the list..

This is a fairly enjoyable snuff. Extremely easy to take. This is probably the sweetest cherry style snuff I have tried. Good on its own or mixed with Gawith Cola or Toque Chocolate!

My all-time favourite,I was looking forward to this snuff, and it did not dissapoint me at all. Nice cherry fruity taste,as far as i can tell, not menthol or in a very little dose. Reccomended for starters, nice twist and tap tin, holds 5g,not 7g like betonete wrote. Very small so you can carry it in the smallest pocket.

more coarse than medium and very moist, at least if it is fresh. the (artificial) cherry scent is very noticeable, but the menthol is even stronger. it is like snifding a menthol-cherry candy. it is more of a hot, spicy cherry taste. i like cold cherry-coke but i do not reallt enjoy this hot variety. also i detect some vanilla notes, which are nice. comes in a nice round 7g tin.
