Plain Sandalwood in a decent tobacco base. That is if sandalwood can be called plain. On the verge of being soapy this scent would make a great fixative for a floral mix. Good nic hit but the scent lasts a little too long for me. Sandalwood for me, does not feel good in the nose and the scent however pleasant becomes annoying after a while.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I really hated it when I first got it, then it grew on me a little, but its just odd. The sandalwood scent for one is very powerful. Smelling it prior to snuffing it nearly turns my stomach. Its highly perfumed, sickly, and artificial smelling. However, once in the nose, as with many snuffs, its much better behaved. The smell is still stong but does bring about a certain relaxing quality which makes me say "ahh!". There is no menthol here as some other reviews have mentioned. I can't gather why they detect it. The nicotine is nice in it and the grind is easy enough for a beginner to take. It can be unpleasant if it drips into the throat. Another drawback is that the scent will stick with you for the rest of the day, and may interfere with your enjoyment of other snuffs. I guess that's a good thing if you want a long lasting scent.
Its also one that should not be stored with your other snuffs, as the scent may permeate into them; its so powerful.
I'll finish my small tub of it, but this is not something I'd buy again. The plain one (Smoker's Blend) in this range is the only one I'd recommend.

I do enjoy this one every now and then, it has the same characteristics of the other QWS products I've tried--dark brown in color, medium grind, etc. The sandalwood in here is strong, and has a nice incense flavor. I probably won't buy it again, but sandalwood lovers will enjoy this one, no doubt! It is a little much for all day use, but the occasional pinch is very nice.

Pretty odd, but ermtony is right, this is identical with the Paul Gotard "Sandal Tree" snuff. So, this applies here as well:
Not quite what I expected from a sandalwood snuff, but not too bad, either. The flavour is a bit too perfumed for my taste, so 3 pinches is the maximum I can take. Interestingly it delivers quite a nic buzz afterwards. Pretty odd, as I don“t think the target audience for this kind of snuff is too keen on getting a nicotine high.

I got this one as a free sample in my latest Mr Snuff order.
The Sandalwood is reminiscent of Satya's Sandalwood Incense Cones. Quite a pleasant suprise and the Nicotine seems to be very high as well.
The base is similar to T.A.S. Madras Snuff, which is a bonus, considering that it has become one of my favourite plain Snuffs.
As expected from an Indian product, it manages to scent the world around you with exotic flourishes that can make life a little more interesting and enjoyable.

A most interesting snuff. The sandalwood is pure, and I can only compare this to the sandalwood/musk combination in Dean Swift's Inchkenneth. This one isn't as fragrant or long-lasting as the fragrance of Inchkenneth, although longer than most snuffs. The initial impression is pleasant, then about five minutes later the snuff settles down to become .. the smell of a woman in heat. There's no other way I can describe it. It's as close to pheromones as a tobacco snuff can get! The nicotine hit was not overwhelming, as I'd anticipated with a product called "Quit With Snuff." But the medium-fine blend didn't cause a sneezing fit either. After using this, I find myself wanting to grab the nearest woman and saying, "Hey, baby, smell this." This is a tin I'll finish.

To me this snuff tastes and looks just like the Paul Gotard Sandal Tree snuff, so I may as well repeat what I said for that review: "The flavouring in this one is unlike any sandalwood I've come across before and there are other flavours in there, source unknown, which come over as being rather sickly, but not especially sweet. The grind is medium and the moisture level too. The colour is a rich red-brown. It's easy to take with little noticeable burn. That flavour does linger rather longer than I care for." I must say I'm not sure where others have got the menthol in this snuff from as there is non in the sample I have. Cross-contamination perhaps?

QwS' Sandalwood is an elegant snuff with lasting flavor. It delivers little nose bite and is easy to take. It is memorable and does not confuse (in the sense of mixing many complementary notes to the blend). While I was watching a movie by myself, my girlfriend came to me and said "umm, sandalwood." She had taken it and was enjoying it (without me!). This snuff's flavor is lasting. I recommend it to those who like woodsy notes in their snuff (and to the ladies).

A very good snuff i think it is just straight up sandalwood very calming and incense like. i see some of the other reviews detect some menthol and all i can surmise is there is either very, very little and i can't detect it or the blend has changed and there is no menthol in the 10g tub that i have recieved. I use this as an all day snuff on occasion but every now and then it sort of builds up over the coarse of the day and becomes a little overwhelming.

This really reminded me of my old dojo. Very good. Has that nice Asian incense smell.

I don't particularly care for the wood smell. Much like what inhaling sawdust would be like. Not my thing.

great snuff. The menthol is enough to help clear your nose but not way too strong. It works great with this very sweet sandalwood. It's a lot sweeter smelling then most sandalwoods. Tradionaly sandalwood is considered a grounding scent which promotes calmness and stability, this snuff proves this correct. quite a joy to enjoy this snuff.

This one is all about the wood. A deep dark farmyard iron-brown with a pleasant nose-feel right from the first grain as it hits the nose. The surface Sandalwood fragrance opens up to a muscular, masculine new-cut hardwood log. The complex layers start to emerge after five minutes or so; appetizing aromas are nutlike and true, cracked walnuts and pecans, with more subtle back notes of dried figs and dates. But still the saw-mill flavors keep powering in not letting you forget the base essential oil. It finally gives way to just a faint hint of dried-fruit, brown-sugar sweetness in the smooth, mellow finish.

This is another great snuff from 'Quit with Snuff'. Like the jasmine I got the chance to sample this about 8-9 months back and have been waiting for its availability. This is a finer grind than the jasmine. The sandalwood scent is amazingly pure and very enjoyable. The menthol hit is stronger than the jasmine but definitely not overdone. With a long lasting clean sandalwood scent, this snuff is a definite must try.
