Omg, this snuff is STRONG in flavour and quite potent in nicotine, my goodness! It´s as smokey as a cooling burnt piece of wood. Even a bit reminding of hot metal the first few seconds. Very solid and pleasing. Maybe a bit strong for all day use. Bernard wouldn´t be ashamed to have such a tasty snuff in their range, the smokey flavour´s reminding me quite a bit of their preferance. Just have to change the nicotine from high to huge..

When a pinch of Superior hits your nostrils you know you had some serious snuff! It is not only a hard hitter in the nicotine department but is also has quite a depth of flavour beyond the strong and pungent smokiness. There seems to be a woodland earthiness in there along with a leathery muskiness. The overall effect is very satisfying. Time for another pinch!

Another solid Scotch from Swisher/Helme I happened to luck upon at the local grocer. Superior is an all around sniffer that's bone dry and fine with great smoky BBQ'd flavor and the kick typical of the variety. Not quite the hard-hitter as Rooster but newbies might want to remain seated the first time around. This one is similar to many of the other American dry snuffs with the BBQ right in the middle of the pack, noticeably smokier than Rooster but not quite the BBQ of Square. I'm satisfied to keep this one on hand for a decent representative of the classic American snuff, three solid snorts for Superior.
