My my this snuff is not for the lightweight snuffers!!!!! I would say it is a scotch on steroids for sure. I was surprised on the aroma it gives kinda of a nutty with a hint of sweet scent to it which reminds me of "peanut butter" also. The only downfall of this snuff is the initial burn that it gives but hey not really a downfall for me because I'm use to the burn that scotches give me but for the first time snuffer I'd say "you gotta start from the bottom and work your way up to hang with the big boy's!!!!"

Nice nicotine hit, but not overpowered at all. The scent is pure tobacco whit a little hint of citrus. there's no burning in nostrils and the income after taking is very pleasant. Makes the hamsters in my brain to wake up and run... and run. I had quitting smoke about a week ago, and this kick the craving very well!

lovely, easy to take. Quite a strong hit of nicotine. Seems to be unscented as all i can detect is tobacco which in itself is quite pleasant.

I like this one a lot. Seems to grow on me. The more I snuff the more I like it. Do give it a day after opening to air out. It seems more of a pure tobacco taste very little perfumes and absolutely no Menthol Camphor Smoke flavor etc. I was impressed that the top screws in. Also the container is filled perfectly no empty spaces or overfill like with the WOS. The consistency is perfect not as fine as the Scotch toasts and not as heavy as the Poschl. A little more medium grind than the WOS. This Snuff is a must try for your snuff collection can't imagine anyone disliking it. It's also refreshing due to lack of perfumes.

When I first tried Quit, I approached it with caution. Having once suffered a nicotine overdose with Rooster, I was not going to take any chances. Needless to say, I was quite pleased with the overall flavor and nicotine of Quit. I find it easy to take and can find myself using it all day without a thought. I've even been known to add just a touch of Rooster (a very small touch) for a stronger nicotine hit. I'm also a snus user and often take a pinch of Quit with a non-stark snus portion. By combining a regular snus portion with Quit, it presents itself very well as stark. The reason I've given Quit 4 and not 5 stars is because I don't think Quit has enough of a "nic hit" for a hardcore smoker. As a former 30 year smoker, it took both snus and snuff to break me from the habit. For me, snus and snuff go very well together. They offer greater variety and far less harm than cigarettes.

This was one of the first snuffs that I tried and - at first - I was underwhelmed. The aroma in the nose certainly made me recall the experience of walking, in mid-summer, across a newly-mown hayfield, but I really couldn't see why it was supposed to be a high nicotine snuff - I just didn't get it. After a month of snuffing I've learned that how you take snuff has a big effect and starting to master toasts and suchlike has helped me re-visit this one. I'd certainly found that I was drawn to it in the mornings - when I don't want psychedelic flavours at all - but it wasn't until this evening I 'got it' for the first time and thought, 'yes, blimey, this stuff IS strong after all'. It's undemonstrative, tasty and strong; it's a fine snuff and I can't, now, see that I'd ever want to be without it. (Update: What I've found myself doing more and more is making 'Quit plus Whisky & Honey' or 'Quit plus Original' cocktails. I'd like to suggest to Toque that they use Quit as a base for, say, a 'Quit SP' etc - it works very nicely and makes a robust & tasty snuff...)

I was hesitant to order this snuff, as plain tobacco doesn't really appeal to me much. I like a bit of flavor in my snuff. With my first pinch, I found, pure tobacco is exactly what this stuff is. I'm sure if this is what you're looking for it will be a great snuff, but it isn't for me. Also, it is touted as being a high nicotine snuff. I personally cannot tell the difference in nicotine content from snuff to snuff, so I can't say whether or not it is higher content.

A real winner. Toque blends are a joy to the nose and never more so than when the blenders art brings out the pure and delicous flavour of good tobacco. This has everything that I look for in a snuff; strength without losing balance and a flavour that is subtle enough to keep me interested. I also think that, despite its potency, this would be a good snuff for the beginner because of its overall smoothness. There is just enough burn to let you know you've had a good pinch, but none of that eye watering blast that you get with some other strong snuffs - notably the great, but challenging, US Scotchs. If you are looking for a snuff to help you quit, this will do what it says on the can.

Well, I´m not eager to totally stop smoking, but reducing ain´t a bad thing at all. With this one it would be easy to totally stop smoking. Just tried it, when I was about to light a cig and the need was gone before I could count to 3. Mild flavour (VERY fresh virginia leafes, or wheat if you´re more familiar with this), not to dry... = beginner friendly. And pleasant enough to keep you coming back for a longer time, I guess. Should be great for mixing or experimenting with flavours of your own (with an extra nic hit).

This is medium brown snuff. Pure tobacco flavor. Very good nic content. Had little moisture but was enough to keep it from shooting back due to my sometimes overzealous nostrils. This would be a good base for those interested in making their own flavored/scented snuff. Toque does it again!

Similar tobacco scents as Toque Natural with a more fine grind. This stuff is invaluable. I can see a whole line of flavored Toque Quit challenging the status of English (medium) grind snuffs. This is the snuff I am using in my Spanish Jewel snuff solera to extend my remnants of the rare snuff. Only time will tell, but I'm pretty sure I did the right thing. A word to those trying to quit smoking and using snuff for the first time. The answer to your FAQ "I'm I doing it right?" is yes. There is no wrong way! You will learn soon enough to be comfortable with it. Toque Quit = a good choice.

Great snuff! The flavor and grind are essentially identical to Toque Natural, but due to the vein and stem removal, you will get a much higher nicotine kick. If you are looking to quit smoking, than this will surely help you. When I started snuff, I gradually dropped from 12 or so cigarettes a day to 1 a day, and I wasn't even trying to quit, and I had smoked for 25 years! This snuff was a big part of that. Just becuase it is called 'Quit' is no reason for non-smokers to stay away from it. This is a well made snuff, and among Toque's finest offerings. I will always be sure to have a bit of this in my collection.

Pale to mid brown, fine ground, quite dry to medium moisture snuff. Mild tobacco aroma with a slight whiff of ammonia, followed by a hint of play-dough/corn/oatmeal and not much else. Quite easy to take with little burn, but plenty of nicotine. Ideal snuff to quit cigarettes with. Edit: Add a tonka bean to the tin and leave for a couple of weeks; this adds a nice spicey vanilla essence which lifts the snuff to another level.

While some may compare this to American high-nic snuffs, I can't really do that. The flavor of Quit is so unique, in a wonderful way. I love high-nic snuffs but do not really care for all the American scotches. Upon sniffing some of this snuff, all I can smell & taste is pure and simple tobacco. I couldn't really feel the 'nic hit' that others get, but I guess it worked as it calmed my nerves enough from reaching for a cigarette. If anyone else is interested in some good non-menthol snuffs, check this out.

I have to agree with ermtony, this is a superb snuff. It does have a hint of moisture (when fresh) which does make it easy to take a nice big pinch. You definitely get a solid clean tobacco tone with just a light kiss of a wheat/oat combination. And for just a flash of a second I get a tone of provolone cheese but that disappears as fast as it arrives. It really reminds me of a nameless moroccan snuff I have & enjoy very much. With a nice nicotine content it does satisfy. It might have been better suited with a name like 'Classic' because I think it will be.

Quit is mid to light brown in colour and relatively dry, though not overly so, making it easy to take. The grind is fine, though not as fine as the Toque toasts, but there is enough moisture in there to avoid any "back of the throat" issues. The aroma is of good, solid tobacco with a pleasant smokiness coupled with light citrus notes. In the nose that smokiness is less pronounced and the full flavour of the excellent tobacco base comes through. I think this one is possibly best categorised as an SP, but what an SP! Now the nicotine.... Oh yes! This is a powerful one! The equal of any toast or scotch I have tried and yet I find myself coming back for more and more. This is a 5-star snuff which I hope never to be without! Hats off to Roderick again!
