To me its just a average snuff that can be used as a mixer to me BUT the "taste" is something completely different than the scotches I'm use to.

This one is weird it has the consistency of american dry snuff and the smokey taste which I like but the aroma dissipates pretty quickly my sample was clumpy if you know what I mean; the niccotine was non existent on my opinion I may keep some sround for mixing it with american dry scotches that might be too fine grind.

Ok, Im a huge fan of Toques Snuff but this is so so.
Im also a bourbon lover and own a a few rare bottles along with my faves.
This is a smokey snuff and good in that right, but not Bourbon.
It lacks the complexities and subtleties but it is probably the closest oyu will get for a bourbon snuff.
To me this is a good version of an American Scotch that is easier to take and of course a lot fresher.

To me this one smells better in the tin, than when in my nose. I really like the toasted snuffs alot, but the Bourbon has a fishy aftertaste, that I find to be quite disgusting. There´s a possibility, that this snuff captures the qualities of a Bourbon just perfect, but I´m unfamiliar with it. If you are, this might very well be the perfect snuff.

I've just spent a happy ten minutes trying to quantify exactly how this differs from 'Whisky & Honey' and my conclusion is this: it doesn't differ by an enormous amount (at least to this amateur nose) - but there's difference enough, I'd say, to slant this snuff towards a regular home at points in the sniffers day where W&H might not fit so well. It's not as sweet, for one thing; there are times when W&H seems not a savoury enough snort for me and Bourbon might fit those times rather well. Strength & grind-wise, they're very similar. Bourbon doesn't have quite the (and this will sound silly but what the hell) complex architectural height of W&H - it's a much more straightforward smoky-booze flavour and it doesn't force you - as W&H does - to spend so much time admiring it: it's more retiring in other words and, sometimes, that's a good thing. Bottom line: It's a lovely snuff. Thanks Toque!

Still another nice flavored toast from Toque. I however, do not get a bourbon flavor from it. The flavor is wonderful, it just isn't bourbon. The flavor is more of a sweet/smoky/BBQ smell rather than bourbon. It reminds me a bit of a good American Scotch snuff.

I must confess, I never cared for bourbon. I always preffered single malt Scotch whisky or Irish whiskey. I am however, open to trying any snuff that I have not tried, even if the flavor is not initially appealing.
I found the aroma of this actually quite off-putting, but its a different beast entirely once in the nose. As with many snuffs, they sniff better than they smell.
This is a Toast style snuff, very dry and somewhat fine. Its probably not suitable for a beginner, but the intermediates who have mastered snuffing toasts will relish this one.
The flavor is nutty and sweet and perhaps a bit caramel like. Bourbon is made with corn, and there is a slight hint of that here too, but a rich sweet corn.
Not an everyday for me, but a nice occasional snuff.

A beautifully flavored Bourbon toast snuff. I could not have done better myself if I tried ( I did try). The flavor based on Elijah Craig 18yr single barrel bourbon is exacting. The base tobacco as a toast couldn't be better. All toast lovers will appreciate what Toque has done with the traditional toast. As it is very dry it's a no fuss snuff that can be taken to the ends of the earth and back. There is no reason not to have a bit of this on hand.

Light brown, fine, dry and slighty fluffy, so easy to take for a toast. Sweet comforting smokey oakiness that keeps drawing you back for more and is not cloying or clogging. Great as an evening snuff with wine, scotch or bourbon, or a nice cup of tea. The nicotine is quite high, so has a calming effect. Superb.

This is a very good snuff that is comfortable to sniff it just sits in your nose in such a way that makes you feels at ease, i don't know if i can say that it smells much like bourbon to me but that could be my uneducated nose, i would describe it as a pleasantly smoky snuff with a slight... bourbony sweetnes towards the end... okay so it is kind of boubon like after all :)

Snuff doesn't get much better than this. By rights this should have been in production since the 1700's and a favourite of the Prince Regent as opposed to one of the newest snuffs by the newest snuff company, it tastes as though it has history. Smooth grind, smoky flavour and a lingering bourbon note add up to this being one of the great snuffs. If I had a sixth star to award I would.

Just when you thought that Toque's toasts couldn't possibly get any better they go and release this one, the proverbial canine danglies of toasted snuffs! It's fine and dry though fluffy enough to make it easy enough (for a toast) to take. Now the flavour is something again. The bourbon scent is clear as soon as you open the tin and it just gets better once in the nose. There is a superb smoky sweetness in there that lingers and lingers. Grade A+ snuff!

This is a heavenly, wonderful, superlative snuff - Light in colour, fine in texture, big on flavour.
First the aroma on opening the tin is definitely recognisable to me as bourbon. Then the first taste is a sweetness which is quickly overtaken by the bourbon - it even feels warming, like a shot. There is a definite toasty tobacco flavour underneath and then - the lovely charcoal smokiness to finish, that lingers for quite a while.
It took a few pinches to get used to the different stages and depths of flavour, but here we definitely have another Toque masterpiece!
I strongly urge everyone who hasn't tried it to order a tin - you won't regret it.
