Reviews for Dholakia Blast Cola Champagne

Sweet, and not good sweet. No champagne and very little cola. I do like the base tobacco that is used, which is why it did get 2 stars and not even lower. Get your cola elsewhere.

I find myself in agreement with the consensus of the majority of previous reviews. This is by no means an unpleasant snuff, but Cola and or Champagne it is not. The cola scent is barely detectable. Its a bit stronger when its fresh, but even then its not much. Champagne? Not at all. I'm hoping this was poetic licence in the name. The grind and base tobacco are similar to the some others in some of Dholakia's ranges. Its well enough made in that department. At least it doesn't taste artificial like the Pöschl Gawith Cola. The Toque Cola is head and shoulders more cola like though. Mediocre.

neither cola nor champagne detectable, it's a snuff to forget.

What can I say - this is about as mediocre as it gets. It's odd how utterly forgettable this one is. There's a bit of a Coke-- er, sorry, "Cola" --flavored scent, and it does tickle the nose like a strong champagne, but the flavor disappears within mere minutes. The "mechanics" here are all good - it goes up the ol' honker without a fight, and there's very little drip - so I can't completely flunk it, but there's really not much reason to recommend this one. Dholakia is perhaps the most "hit and miss" of the major snuff manufacturers, with their utterly masterful Swiss Chocolate and QWS-label Irish Coffee (I'm reasonably sure that the QWS line originates from Dholakia - same tub, same grind, same approach to flavor) contrasting quite heavily with utterly mediocre offerings such as this. A star for existing, a star for not resulting in immediate pain or disfigurement, but take it from me: go with a do-it-yourself Toque blend, and leave this one for the clearance rack.

Mix Toque's Champagne and Coke. You'll get the flavor you are looking for. You won't find it here.

Dholakia's Cola Champagne is a pop flavored snuff that I can enjoy. It is easy to take and it delivers a slight nose bite. It is pleasant. What I enjoy most is that I do not get the artificial flavoring after taste that I get with other pop snuffs. The flavor is so well accomplished that I can experience the flavor sharpness associated with the soda fizz. I recommend this snuff to the young snuffer who enjoy sweetness in snuff without it being overwhelming.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this snuff. It's sweet (perhaps a bit too sweet) and easy to take but I can't put my fingers on the flavour. Granted I don't tend to drink cola but I can detect nothing cola-like in there. As for champagne, nope. Not a sign. The underlying tobacco is good enough of course but the flavouring seems to miss the mark. It's harmless enough and I'm sure some people will like it but it really isn't for me.

I remember this being one of the first snuffs I tried when I was younger. My initial reaction was that I didn't find much special to it. Now when I go back trying a pinch again, I still feel the same way. This snuff is a weird one. I can barely make out the 'cola' in it, let alone the 'champagne'. I sniff it, it burns a little, I sneeze, and that's about it. I can barely feel the nicotine either. Cola is supposed to be sweet, refreshing, and brisk while champagne is aromatic, flavorful, and bubbly. This snuff doesn't have any of those characteristics and is, well... bland. It doesn't even have even a hint of that sweet barbecue of unflavored snuff. I guess it's good for the beginner as a first snuff that won't overpower. Maybe even for infants.

Cola is a flavour you either love or hate and, surprisingly, its not weird in a snuff. I like this more than the sweeter offerings in the new line as it seems to have just a touch more bite.
