I was unimpressed by this one. Brandy? Not really. I get something vaugely alcoholic tasting, most like the FUBAR Shot of Rum or the Rum Special. Its not heavily pronounced though. Maple? Not a bit. Just a sweet character. The base tobacco is ok, it does get a little throaty and a little runny. Not unpleasant, but nothing I'd go out of my way to buy.

Neither the brandy, nor the maple are explicitly strong in this snuff. Well, I just checked my smelling ability, just to make sure. Nope, everything´s fine, but not much is to be found in this tin. Indeed, the scent leads a bit into the Schmalzler direction. But light like a feather in comparison. The tobacco itself seems to be quite good, but presumably better without this gone wrong flavouring. Have to get the Blast Natural to verify this.

Nice, but I don't get any brandy flavour with this. Good strong tobacco notes underlying the sweetness.

Medium-fine, fairly moist and a rich mid-brown colour, this is one superbly scented snuff. It's big on both the brandy and the maple and reminds me very much of one of the fruitier German Schmalzler in terms of flavour, though not, of course, in grind. While sweet, it doesn't cloy and while fine, it is still an easy snuff to take. Excellent stuff!

Fine to medium grind and of medium moisture. Easy on the nose and causes no sneeziness. The maple flavour is accompanied by a vague booziness, but is not identifiable as brandy. Despite my love of maple syrup, this snuff leaves me cold. I'd rather something more neutral, or more refreshing up my nostrils thanks. Unsophisticated and mildly unpleasant aroma lingers afterwards. 3/10.

I agree with snuffster. Like a sweeter Fubar Shot of Rum.

Got the maple but not too much brandy. This reminded me of the Fubar 'shot of rum', so I wonder is the same spirit base flavour is used in both. Quite nice though.
