This was the first snuff ever, that made me sick. I can´t put a finger on it, but there´s something in there, I just can´t stand. The developement of the various flavours indeed was very interesting, you really get the struggle of the different flavours, but that sickening thing was present all the time. The scent stays there, although softer, for half a day, which should be great if you like this snuff.

This has been described as being a rose and lemon scented snuff but it also has a light menthol flavouring to it. I'm sure there are other flavours in there too, but that touch of menthol is making it difficult for me to isolate them. The colour is a mid to dark brown, the grind is medium and so it the moisture level. The plastic container is the same as those used by Bernard's and Samuel Gawith's, having a slide opening which is perfectly practical for tapping out a measure onto the back of the hand. In grind and style the Three Musketeers snuffs remind me strongly of some of the Bernard's snuffs (thinking of the Jubiläums-Snuff and Amostrinha) and I suspect they may be made by them. Not a bad snuff at all and I'll give it 3.5 out of 5, but I'm not sure I'll be reordering.
