Finer than F&T and with a significant citron note. This one gets in the back of my throat, but I think I might have gotten an older tin since other reviews say this has a medium moisture content. I actually enjoy this more than F&T, which makes sense because Strasbourg is one of my favorite snuffs and this shares the citron scent that I love. The floral scent is not at all cloying.

A delicious snuff and one of the classic types that WoS excel at. The flavour is rich but not overpowering.

I got this one in the hopes that it would bring me the same, or slightly different, delight that the magnificent Fribourg and Treyer Morlaix brought me. This snuff is similar in some aspects of the scent, but really is not much like the F&T at all. It gives itself away too easily for one. I can easily pick out Rose, lemon (possibly citron) and a little bergamot. If these are also in F&T's "#325 flavor secret" they are melded much more thouroghly. There's nothing to complain about really, and I like it well enough to rank it at 4 stars, but I'll finish it and then keep F&T as my permanent Morlaix. Its not unique enough to keep in the collection for me.

Pale brown, finely ground and medium moist, this snuff is very different from the Fribourg and Treyer version, in that it is not perfumed. The aroma is mainly lemons and rose, and quite sweet and intense (like quality Turkish Delight), but not cloying and the scent doesn't linger for too long. Quite similar to the Strasbourg, but the tobacco is lighter, more finely ground and has a marginally greater nicotine hit. Beginners may prefer the Strasbourg as it is easier to take, but with practise, this snuff is very appealing and moreish. 9/10.
