Not at all comparable to the Toque Whisky & Honey, which is a toast. This uses Dholakia's standard grind for the majority of the "Blast" series. This one is not bad; much better than the Cola and Rum ones. I can't taste any honey, I just get a strong but shortlived whisky scent and some sweetness. This grind can get a bit throaty, so watch out for that.

Not to be confused with Toque's marvelous snuff of the same name - this is Toque's W&H from Oppositeland. Toque's is mostly honey with only a hint of whiskey, this is mostly whiskey with only the vaguest hint of honey. Toque's is dry and granulated, this is the typical Dholakia-American Kendal Brown grind. The flavor of Toque's lingers for quite a while, this one is over and done with in five minutes. Toque's comes in tins, this comes in tubs. The metaphor doesn't quite make it to the finish line, though, as while Toque's is utterly delicious, this is hardly "utterly nasty". Instead, I would say that Toque's is highly memorable, while this is quite forgettable. Dholakia can hit it out of the park (Swiss Chocolate, Ganja), but they also have their fair share of strikeouts (Cola Champagne), towering pop flies (Gin & Tonic) and bang-bang double-play ground-outs to the shortstop that end up getting both the batsman and the manager ejected for arguing the call (Brandy Maple, Roasted Nut). In the land of the baseball metaphor, this one might reach first on a hit-by-pitch, but it ends up stranded at second.

Not comparable with toque’s fabulous composition. There’s a strong alcoholic whisky taste in here. Personally, I can’t get the honey taste.

Given the fact that there are some very favourable reviews, I guess there must be something wrong with the tin I´ve received. The snuff in there delivers a certain "warmth", but recogniseable honey or whiskey? Nope. I´ve tried numerous times, inside, outside, morning, evening all with the same result. I do not get the flavours. In my book this one is a fail.

This is a very, very good snuff. Not as strong as the Toque offering with the same name; and, has more pronounced Whiskey and Honey flavors. I can see this one falling into my daily rotation because it is easy to take and is has such distinguishable flavors. I can also see this one turning into a "go to" for me because of its moist, sweet elements.

An easy to take snuff with a great flavour that is entirely different to the Toque blend in that it is far less subtle. A great warming whisky flavour gives way to a nice honey glow, with that great Dholakia tobacco taste underlying it all. One of the best of the new range to my mind.

A rich and sweet honey flavour with a suitably astringent background from the whisky. What an excellent snuff! My initial worry was that this would be too similar to Toque's excellent offering but no worries on that score. The grind is coarser (medium rather than fine) and the moisture level higher (medium rather than dry) making this quite a different snuff. Like the Rum Special this feels like more of a dessert snuff than an all day one. Having said that I have been using it on and off all day. The aroma is delicious and the flavour lingers nicely. Superb!
