This is one of the better snuffs from Paul Gotard. While I wouldn't call it top class by any means, it does have enough complexity to be interesting and no menthol to get in the way of the tobacco and other flavours. Essentially this is a medium-coarse, moist, dark, floral snuff but it does have a hint of sweetness that I find less than appealing. The style and grind remind me of some of the dark Samuel Gawith snuffs, Princes Dark and Cob Dark spring to mind,and the flavouring is along those lines. Not bad at all but for me it lacks a certain something.

A bit reminiscent of some F&T snuffs. Very dark brown in colour and very moist. Nice floral perfume scent, but not as heavy, long lasting and a bit less classy as the F&T´s. A nice, less expensive alternative. Slightly burns in the nose. And the tin is a pain to open.

Dark Night is very similar to Sam Gawith Cob Dark, with a bit more floral scent to it. The grind and moisture make for easy snuffing, and it is one of the most sneezless snuffs I've tried. It would get a 5th star, but it is somewhat clogging. You'll be blowing your nose all day with this one.
