Initially opening a fresh tin of this snuff you get such a saturated ammonia cloud in your face, this alone keeps your head spinning a bit. Has to seriously air out a few hours! Well, I´ve been a bit tired when I´ve shoved the first load of this snuff in (it can´t really be sniffed, way too coarse), but it only took a few seconds to feel the energy this snuff´s setting free. Should be more than a perfect wake up snuff, or something to keep one awake. The nicotine hit is really huge. The menthol is not so much detectable as a flavour (it is still to some degree), but much more for it´s cooling effect. It´s nice! Good tobacco flavour, but not quite as good as the Taxi Red imo. Still a very good and recommendable product!

I am not a lover of menthol snuffs, but I emptied my first tin of this faster than any menthol I have ever owned. All of the things I said about Ntsu plain apply to this one as well. The only thing I have to add is that the menthol actually seems more like a nice minty addition rather than a menthol. It makes an otherwise plain (but amazing) snuff somewhat more interesting. Again I reccommend just shoving this into your nose with out trying to snuff it in. Take a few good pinches, It sticks together easily. Enjoy your flight.

Before I begin I'd better restate my feelings on mentholated snuffs - generally, with just a few exceptions, I'm not a big fan of them. However, the menthol in this snuff is relatively subdued and not at all objectionable. Essentially this snuff is the same as the Plain version, but with that menthol addition. Like the Plain, it needed a few hours airing to clear the ammonia, but once done it is just as enjoyable, just as dark, coarse, moist, strong and tasty. And to my surprise it made me sneeze!

This, like American Snuff, is a dual-purpose affair.
The grind is almost too coarse to actually go up one's nose, but with a bit of practice and some insane amounts of inhalation, it can be done.
When you first open the little green and yellow plastic smashbox it comes in, there's a huge rush of Menthol and Ammonia scents.
Putting it in the lip like Snus or Copenhagen results in a very satisfying minty feeling. Taken like a European Snuff it's got a very strong combination Menthol/Sal Ammoniac aroma that just might give you the feeling that you have huffed rocket fuel!
It would be great as something to convince fellow Snuffing friends to try as a dare during a marathon drinking session, or perhaps just the trick to fend off a knife wielding attacker in a dim alleyway.
That said, I'm strangely attracted to this stuff and quite like it.
