This one is just okay in my book. I will probably try to trade off the tin for something a bit more my taste. I like menthol and I like honey snuffs, but this one doesn't do it for me. Perhaps I'll revisit in a few months.

I suppose this is one of those "must try" snuffs. The combination of honey and menthol is certainly well estabished in the cough drop world, and translates to the snuff world easily. Its moister than most Wilsons snuffs, but still a medium. The menthol is not as heavy as many medicated snuffs, but still very strong, perhaps a bit too strong. I find it rather congesting, but the flavor is pleasant. Its cooling and sweet and all around nice.

A favorite of mine. As others have noted this starts with a strong blast of menthol that fades away shortly. The honey then becomes apparent, although I find this to be a subtle sent. Mu first choice to clear my head or if I plan to be out in the cold.

‘Nome est omen’: After a strong menthol kick, a sweet and long lasting honey flavour appears. It’s just a well-done composition.

Indeed, the honey flavour is quite nice, once you´re able to receive it. Takes ages until the menthol wears off. Far too strong on menthol for me to enjoy this snuff. Just as annoying as the Cherry Menthol. Would be easy for menthol fans to add some more menthol to it, if necessary. Just doesn´t work in the other direction. But for those, who can´t get enough menthol it should be a very fine snuff.

Where would we be without Wilson's of Sharrow and all their wonderful types of snuff? Honey Menthol is a favorite of mine. It starts out with a healthy kick from the menthol (perhaps too much for a beginner) then it leaves behind a slight honey sweetness in the nostrils. This snuff really shines as a mixer with high dry toast type snuffs to give them a little extra zip. About 25% HM is my favorite mix. This is a great wake up in the morning snuff, too. If they dialed back the menthol just a hair and added to the honey flavor it would be just about perfect. 4 stars.

Medium brown, finely ground, quite fluffy and medium moist and very fresh straight from Sharrow Mill. The rather overdone menthol hit comes first, but this subsides quickly to reveal sweet honey, cocoa and fudge. I think the honey flavour is not very accurate, and the drinking chocolate finish can outstay its welcome during the day. However, as a bedtime snuff it works very well. Good nicotine hit. 6/10 during the day, 9/10 at bedtime!

I enjoy this menthol and I keep it in stock. It satisfies the medicated snuff afficionado and it provides a note of honey mellow (not too sweet, but just right). This menthol is a favorite of my lady. I recommend it.

Nice honey flavour with fairly strong menthol. Good combination. Rich brown, fine and fluffy. I'd almost certainly like it more if the menthol was less pronounced. I have tried mixing this 50:50 with Camphor & Mild - that gives an excellent result.

Sweet and refreshing, when the menthol fades away you can smell the delicious honey , easy on the nose and not too strong on the menthol!!

Wow! Honey Menthol. For the nose. What a treat! I'm really enjoying the strait menthol with the sweet flavors. This one reminds me that I don't have a cold but am taking the medicine anyway.

Cough drop in a can. Not as medicinal as menthol plus. The honey comes in after the menthol burns off. I like this one at night before bed.

This is a good honest honey taste, not overpowered by the menthol, with a nice clean finish. No off-flavors and much more agreeable than the cherry menthol. Again not as penetrating as S.M. 500 but still a good snuff. If you like honey and menthol you will enjoy this one. Moist and very pleasant. Grind is on the fine side of medium, moisture is a little above medium, with nicotine just below medium. Solid 4 stars and would buy this again.

Wow...they should call this Menthol honey, since the menthol takes over from beginning to end. The slight honey aroma is pretty good, and yes Halls is what comes to mind. But I just wish Wilson's would tone the menthol down a bit.
Its an easy sniffer though, and would recomend it to a good friend...just not a really good friend.
Willson's Honey Menthol is deemed worthy of 3 stars*** dig it!!!

This is a potent snuff that will definitely clear your head. Great for waking up in the morning. The flavor that hits me is a Halls honey cough drop

Another one of my Wilson favourites! Agree with the above review, that once the first scent has gone, you are left with a pleasing effect in the nose. Well worth trying.

This snuff is a medium courseness and moisture. This is a very easy snuff to use, not quite poschel easy but compared to the other wilson S.M. snuffs it's easy to take. The scent is almost identical to the halls honey cough drops. After a few minutes the menthol wears of and leaves a mild general sweetness in the nose. Definately a big fan of this snuff and highly recomend it as something slightly diffrent too try, but also do not consider it a must try.
