I can't imagine why this is not more widely available, because it is probably the best Pöschl snuff (other than schmalzler) that I have had. The other reviews state that it is only marketed to France and Switzerland, and no online merchants there or anywhere else have it at this time. So to get it outside of there, you have to have a friend, or a friend of a friend in one of those places. I guess I shouldn't be too suprised, because like nearly everything Pöschl does, it makes little sense.
Well, they may be on a learning curve, as the menthol in this snuff is much subdued from many of their other snuffs, and doesn't really clog me or choke me like so many of their snuffs do. The flavor is distinctly anise, so it is distinct from licorice scented Löwen-Prise. It also has less menthol than that one. The tobacco seems to be the same as Ozona President, but might be less waxy. The tin is also of the same design as President, except this one is metallic green.
The anise flavor is good, and quite strong. I would still classify this as a candy snuff like other Pöschls, so its not an all day one. Still, its better than most and a pleasant surprise.

This is an excellent snuff. The anis flavour is very intense and long lasting. Because of the typical pöschl fluffiness, it’s easy to take. If you like anis, this is it!

This is definitely one of the better aniseed flavoured snuffs that I have tried and it really is a pity that it is not more widely available (currently only to be found in France and Switzerland I believe). The snuff is mentholated but not excessively so and the aniseed flavour predominates. The base snuff seems to the same as in the other Ozona snuffs, dark, of medium grind and quite moist, and so is very easy on the nose. This one should appeal to snuffers both new and experienced.

Had the pleasure to receive a container of this very nice snuff at the InterTabac ´09 from Pöschl. Unfortunately, it´s only available in France and Switzerland. God knows why it ain´t available anywhere else. The tobacco inside is the same base as being used in the Ozona President and it´s the same kind of dispenser, except it reads "ANIS" in big letters and instead of a reflecting silver, it´s a reflecting mint green. Shares all the acceptable qualities of the President, being a bit heavy in the menthol compartment and it´s got a HUGE aniseed dosage. Nonetheless, the flavouring hits the spot. I like it, although I´m usually not fond of aniseed. It´s well done, pleasant and refreshing, but too strong to be taken all day.
