The tobacco base is similar to the standard SP grind used by Wilsons, and the apricot flavour is mild and very natural indeed, and not sweet, so the tobacco is not swamped. Very easy going and moreish, and certainly preferable to the Toque version in my opinion. I sometimes use this snuff as a substitute for an SP in the evening for a change. 7/10.

A great alternative to Gawith with a decent and authentic taste. LIke just about all WoS snuffs, this is so good because the flavouring sits on top of the solid and well balanced WoS flour. At its very best when taken as fresh as can be; I would advise anyone buying less than a bulk amount to keep the tin in an airtight container and decant small amounts to the snuff box as required - sadly the quality of the WoS tins lags some way behind that of the snuffs and this is one that doesn't work when it's drying out.

Well... This was given to me from a friend, He ordered a few too much. But wait! This is good. It hits a very high note with the Wilsons tobacco taking the lead. With just hints of apricot it feels like an SP snuff. Would make a great alternative for those with orange allergies. Then again what have I been missing with all these Wilsons flavors I have never tried. Thumbs up again for Wilsons of Sharrow. This one will add quite a few others onto my " to try" list.

The subtleness of the apricot flavoring allows a good deal of the tobacco flavor to come through as opposed to, say, Poschl's Apricot which is quite full and has a menthol back note. All in all I like it, but would not make a special effort to keep it around.

I only have this snuff as a small sample from a fellow snuffer and I'm not sure how fresh it is, which may colour my comments. The base snuff is the usual and expected good one from Wilson's and the flavouring isn't bad at all, being recognisably apricot, but there is something about it which doesn't sit quite right with me. I may have to get some more of this to give it an even chance.

My favourite Apricot snuff. The flavour is extremely well balanced, so it´s not too sweet and by no means artificial like. The tobacco is dominating a bit more than in any other apricot snuff, which is a big plus, too. Highly delicious and lasting. Edit: unfortunately this snuff loses its charm in the long run. Though the tobacco base is quite solid, the apricot flavour gets quite boring. Strange, but the Wilson´s Strawberry snuff highly resembles it in flavour.

This is quite possibly my favorite of Wilsons' fruit flavored snuffs. Its light and airy and has a wonderful lifting effect. The Apricot is just right, not overdone. With every inhalation after taking a snuff you will get a nice little fruity flavor that will remind you why you love snuff. This effect will improve if you step out into the fresh air. This is the best apricot snuff I have tried.

this last review is "spot on"......harmonic is a great word to describe this one......an all day snuff for sure without having you nose infiltrated and seiged for the duration of the sniff.....the scent comes from far away but it's not weak......it's not cheap or lacking......If you like the mentholated apricot alternative snuffs available you may like this...mind you it's not medicated at all.......it's soft...it's distinguished....it's subtle....you will sniff often..............and once your nose slows down and starts wandering through the orchard of this beauty you'll be hooked forever....the tobacco flavors are there and shine through without the apricot infringing on their territory......and likewise the tobacco flavor merges PERFECT with the pungent apricot scent.......I will always reorder this one and keep it on hand......

I only had one pinch of this but had to review it straightaway. The apricot smell comes in the background like someone waved a freshly peeled bowl of them at you, but from inside your head. Then again, it feels as if the flavor and aroma are coming from a great distance, like a harmonic on a guitar string, it blooms. It is somehow more of a feeling that you're tasting apricot than actually smelling it. It's very odd, it must be highly aromatic. You can almost taste them but then again it feels out of reach...really amazing. When I described it to my wife she said that sounds pretty psychadelic, are you sure what they put in that stuff? It's a very light tone but perfect, fruity, and completely natural. A super clean surprise that will bring a smile to your face! Now I understand what people have said about Wilson's all using the same base. In grind and moisture it's similar to Strasbourg, a bit like Florida gulf coast beach sand at ebb tide. I wish this one would be more finely ground and a bit drier. The moisture would probably be ok if it were finer but as it is this grind clogs me. Something with the same grind as F&T's Seville (which Wilsons also make) with this fantastic apricot flavor would be a huge home run.

Love this one almost done with my tin :( as of the writeing of this review. The apricot is somewhat subtle but very noticable and very dead on to real apricot scent. Though what I love the most about this snuff is that the tobacco scent comes through strongly and reminds me of some of my favorite cigars in a way. The apricot hits strongest at first but in a few seconds the bacco scent comes shining through if you love apricots definately buy two tins of this one for yourself and one for me too. Definatly a favorite

Medium To Fine Grind Medium Brown In Colour. This Is Not Strong On The Apricot, But Strong On The Tobacco Content. I Could Go All Day On This One.
